S P O R T S SCORECARD Adams City High School Girls basketball Aurora Central held off Adams City 38-31 in the season-opener Nov. 30. The game was in Commerce City. Rayann Negrete led the Eagles with 11 points. Anjela Martinez was next with five. Adriana Contreras-Gomez had a team-high nine rebounds for Adams City. No stats were available for the Trojans. Boys basketball Aurora Central topped Adams City 85-67 in the season-opener for both schools Nov. 30 in Aurora. Khafre Garrett-Mills and Cai’Reis Kirby had 25 points for the Trojans.
