• Our Coral Sea Hotels division operates and owns 8 hotels in Port Moresby, Lae, Kiunga, Mt Hagen and Goroka.




• Our Pacific Palms Property (PPP) division owns commercial, industrial and residential properties across PNG.

• PPP performs developments on its own behalf, for Coral Sea Hotels and as a partner in several joint ventures.

• Our Joint Ventures are with identified local landowner groups at each port.
• Each provides significant employment opportunities for the nearby communities and structured in a manner so that earnings filter back into the community.
• Our Joint Venture Stevedoring businesses offer a full range of stevedoring and handling facilities operating in 12 ports around the country.
• Each JV company has a minimum of 30% Local share holding from the area of operation with Steamships being a common shareholder across all JV’s.

PROJECTS AND CHARTERS


• Steamships Logistics operates a fleet of 11 vessels, three of which are dedicated project charter vessels designed for shallow water and river passages. The fleet includes landing crafts, bulk carriers, tankers, tugs and barges.

• We provide short- and long-term vessel charters, as well as reliable scheduled cargo liner services to the shores and rivers around Papua New Guinea.
• Our team of experts understand the complexities around moving cargo and are equipped to transport a range of cargo from bulk fuel, containerized cargo, heavy lift, hazardous goods, break bulk etc., allowing clients to reach any local market in Papua New Guinea.
• We have developed, implemented and supported intermodal logistics solutions linked to land-based services such as road transport, cargo handling, storage, agencies, customs clearance, lay down areas and warehousing.

INLAND TRANSPORT
EastWest Transport (EWT) is a multifaceted transport and logistics company with a presence in all major PNG ports, the division has a sizable fleet of prime movers, heavy trucks, light trucks, forklifts and reach stackers.

• EWT operates across a wide spectrum of transport-related activities including bulk fuel, containerised cargoes, bulk grain, sawdust and coffee along with break-bulk cargoes and depot services.
• EWT also offers a licensed customs cargo clearance service in Lae and Port Moresby.

• Portside Business Park is a purpose built 40hectare industrial park located 10km from Port Moresby’s Central Business District.

CERTIFICATION STANDARDS



• Shipping
Consort Express Lines is required by the SOLAS Convention, Chapter IX (Management of Safe Operation of Ships) to comply with the ISM Code. The Code requires for the development and implementation of a Safety Management System (SMS). The SMS is periodically audited by the Classification Society (Lloyds Register) for compliance and issued appropriate Certificate of Compliance.
• Towage and Salvage
Pacific Towing is ISO certified (9001, 14001, 45001), the company is a member of the International Spill Organization and Melanesia’s only full member of the International Salvage Union.
• Land Transport
EastWest Transport has undergone Gap Analysis for conformance to ISO (9001, 14001, 45001) and management systems have been developed to meet the requirements of this standard.
