MENUSH AMIT

This photo that I took of R’ Aron Baitz when he returned home after a very serious bout with COVID 19 meant so much to me for 2 reasons. It was really moving to see a Jew returning home to his overjoyed family, but it also demonstrated the amazing support of our wonderful community who all showed up to greet him as well.

SHMUEL AMIT Last Purim, I had the privilege of participating in the activities of my brother-in-law Rabbi Itzik Sandroy, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Chabad in Mitzpe Yitzhar, who because of Coronavirus restrictions, was the only one who received permission to enter the IDF base in Samaria. The fact that he was able to enter was certainly because of the power of doing the shlichus of the Rebbe. For me, it was one of the most magical moments of the year.

SHIMI KUTNER After a long day of work, and photographing the incredible Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebrations, I was finally home and editing the photos taken that day, when I heard a Farbrengen going on outside. Despite being tired from the day, I was able to run out and capture this special moment, which is my favorite shot of the year.

MENDY HECHTMAN I was at the Golden Gate Bridge at sunrise and was able to snap this photo of the magnificent background of a low and rare cloud cover.

SHOLEM SRUGO This picture is my favorite because it is very different from all the other photos I usually take. This was a very difficult photo to capture because I had to line up over 200 people, all from different locations in the world and all in a different physical and spiritual stage in life. They put all their differences aside and celebrated Rosh Hashana united as one. In this photo one sees the uniqueness of the Jewish people, how we can all unite as one.
