Message from the Director Dear Colleagues, Welcome back to a new semester! I hope that you all had an enjoyable winter break and took the opportunity to spend some quality me with your families and friends. Wow, where has the me gone and what an incredible year it has been since the Center’s opening a li le more than a year ago! I would like to take a moment to thank the faculty and staff who have paved the way to make the Learning Center possible. I appreciate your hard work and dedica on. Together we have created a structured learning environment to support the condi ons in which students learn best. As always thank you for your unwavering support of the LC. We look forward to con nuing to work with your respec ve departments in establishing programs to ensure that our students are thriving academically. Feedback and sugges ons are always welcomed. con nuing students. S.M.A.R.T.ees assist their mentees by providing informa on about college resources and sharing insight about how to succeed in college. The applica on for con nuing students to become S.M.A.R.T.ees will be available beginning January 14 and should be returned to the LC for considera on by February 25, 2013.
