The following questions subject to change or addition as God gives us light, could be asked of prospective elders, deacons, teachers, ministers, and those requesting missionary support.

1. Do you believe God exists? Hebrews 11:6, Romans 1:20 2. What is your understanding of the nature of God as three persons yet one God? Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 16:7-10 3. Do you believe that Jesus is the divine son of God? John 1:1,14; John 8:54-58, John 20:28 4. Do you believe the scriptures as originally transmitted, are the inerrant word of God? 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:16-21; 2 Peter 3:14-18 5. Do you believe Jesus was born of a virgin? Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:26-35 6. Do you believe Jesus performed miracles? Matthew 8:24-27, Mark 6:35-44, John 11:17-25 7. Do you believe Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world? John 1:29, 1 John 2:2, 1 Peter 1:17-21; 2:24 8. Do you believe Jesus rose bodily from the grave? John 20:11-18, Luke 24:1-8,36-42, 1 Corinthians 15:12-15 9. Do you believe humans are conceived in sin, or conceived in innocence with natural desires that lead to sin?
