Since retiring from teaching, these areas of service are an extension of the kinds of work I was involved in while working, and they are right in my backyard. WHY I SERVE: I love missions and serving other people from different parts of the world. I continually remind myself that I serve out of God’s great love for me and not for it—so it’s a blessing to serve.
