Keenagers President

Keenagers is the church’s ministry for seniors, 55 and older. We generally meet the third Friday of the month—September through April. We gather in Commons Hall for punch at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a program at 7:00 p.m. The monthly meeting is an opportunity to not only enjoy an excellent dinner but also to provide a time of fellowship and a chance to make new friends. Before dinner we also have an opportunity to hear from a member of the pastoral staff as they share about their ministry and lead us in prayer.

This past year we had a series of very interesting programs, several musical programs, a wonderful travelogue, a visit from Queen Elizabeth II, and we are looking forward to a presentation on C. S. Lewis and evangelism. Each summer we also try to have an informal gathering at one of the concerts in Memorial Park in downtown Wheaton. As we look forward to the fall program year, we are hoping to tie our programs more closely into some of the ongoing ministries of College Church.

You are invited to join us as we begin a new season in September. You do not need to be a member of College Church to participate. Come and join with others for a wonderful meal, good conversation and an entertaining program. Watch the Connections for upcoming details.
