THE SECONDES’ MONTHLY NEWSPAPER Dina’s inquiry into what you read My article is about reading in NEFERTARI School. I'll talk about what we can read if we read and who reads in my school, who likes reading, who doesn't like reading, who finds that reading is boring. All these questions are very important for my article. I have found that the most ,not really the most, but a lot of students like reading, something like 40% of students ,and not any book but specifically the adventure and the romance books because most of the people who read in the school are teenagers ,so they like to read t romance and the adventure stories. People who don't like reading are about 60% of the students, they find that's so boring and that someone cannot read 5 pages at once and finally they find themselves doing nothing and nothing to understand. but they like reading for a little information like in the national geographic , believe it or not , this magazine knows it all ... I have also noticed that all the magazine, internationals magazines, with a little information and with an attractive colors, with important information, makes the students who don't read read. I have written this article because I know that to read is very important for a student, not only for students but for everyone in the world. To have information is to have culture about the world, and to have culture about the world is to know a lot of things that we don’t know yet - it's amazing!

THE SECONDES’ MONTHLY NEWSPAPER

As I am a student of grade 10, and a teenage girl, before that, who has the same thoughts and ideas as any other boy and girl, I would like to share with our magazine’s readers, for the very first time, my personal view about one of our problems. At the moment, the most frequent topic my colleagues talk about, and the older people argue about is what we will pick as a baccalaureat next year . Well, many of the students just answer that question in one word because, since they were kids they have had a dream which they have always wanted to come true. And some others hate to hear someone’s question about what they want to do, they get so confused. This confusion comes from too many ideas, because when they were kids, they also had a dream, but by growing-up and experiencing life careers, or just talking with someone about his work, they find it so interesting. And they also get so worried about satisfying the teachers because they are the ones who decide for them at the end. So, all I am asking from the school administration is to talk with us, to figure out our personalities and what we are capable of, because many of us want to do something and don’t care about teachers’ opinions without knowing that they decide for us at the end of the year. The problem is not just asking what we would like to do next year. Our walk of life depends on that decision. So, we should be asked 3

Ayman’s analysis of Toyota’s situation

As we all know, Toyota, the Japanese car industry, has been in big trouble since October because it has appeared that there is a huge problem concerning Toyota's cars on the market, faulty floor mats and glitches in braking software. These problems caused Toyota to call over 8.5 million cars worldwide. This week, Toyota's president is visiting China, they said that the number of vehicles recalled in China is small compared to worldwide. But Toyota has ambitious plans for growth in China, where it and its global rivals are finding growth that has been stagnating even before the recall crisis in traditional American and European markets. The flood of recalls in the United States has shaken confidence in Toyota's reputation for top-grade quality. In China, the company announced a recall of 75,552 RAV4 sport-utility vehicles in late January due to the gas pedal problem.
