We are largely a volunteer organisation. We have over 300 volunteers. Our volunteers are on our Board, in our committees, a part of Policy Taskforces and embedded throughout our community on social and community missions.
Our members and their staff volunteer with us to ensure our events run smoothly. Some will greet you at the door, provide services to our Chamber, provide pro bono assistance to our members, represent us at events and conferences, as well as act as a Conceirge.
A concierge is usually a long-term member that helps new and existing members navigate the chamber, find contacts or meet new people. Our concierges can help you get in front of the right people. We want you to succeed so if you turn up to events, seek out a concierge and let them introduce you to people in a natural and comfortable way.
Becoming a concierge helps you meet new people and to give new and existing members a positive experience within the CBCC.
Becoming a concierge shows our community how committed you are to helping everyone in our chamber to succeed and this will encourage more harmonious, giving, and communityminded actions from others - helping us all.
We have great initiatives! What better way to build relationships than participating in our awesome programs.
Like-minded people find each other, and we're proud to be a community that have more in common that work and business.
Our members are opportunistic. The Chamber is always looking to provide our members with more and more value and creating sponsorship opportunities allows us to put a spotlight on our generous sponsors .
Did you Know?
At the Chamber, our sponsorships can start from as little as $500.
Sponsoring an event, or a program is a great way for you to get involved. If you are interested in sponsoring an event, hosting an event or participating in some other way, you should talk to Wally to see what on, what's coming up and working collaboratively to deliver value to our members.
We are keen to do more, so when you sponsor us, you are contributing to a more vibrant and energetic community.
Whatever your passion, we can probably accommodate you, so, talk to us!
Sometimes, when members join they quickly work out that they could benefit by invcreasing their membership level. We call this elevation.
To elevate, simply call Wally and discuss how you can elevate your membership.
Together, we are building a vibrant, prosperous community, and an ideal destination to live, study, work, do business and play sport!
