HM 4000S CROSS WEB

The HM Cross Web labeller is designed to optimise labelling on thermoformers for vacuum packing. Suitable for top and/or bottom labelling on all thermoformers. The compact and modular design makes it easy to integrate into existing lines.
The labeller is robust and hygienic. It meets the requirements of the food and medical industries.
Strong and durable even at 24-hour operation in harsh environments with high demands on capacity and accuracy.
The HM Cross Web labeller is equipped with a high-speed, servo driven HM labelling head. Labeller speeds range from 0-60 m/min, easily go up to 12 strokes per minute.
A standard 400 mm diameter label roll with a large quantity of labels ensures labelling with fewer stops, for changing labels.

Tailored to your needs
All our Cross Web labelling machines are available in both left- and right-hand configurations, allowing you to choose the solution that best fits your production line.
With our powerful labelling head, we ensure a rapid and efficient label feeding process. The labels are placed onto our advanced vacuum chamber, where they are carefully aligned. From there, the labels are smoothly transferred and precisely applied to the product. High speed processor and high resolution on servo motors provides extremely high precision. This ensures flawless labelling on every product.
The stainless steel covers can be removed for quick and easy service access.
Multiple built-in test functions and error messages in plain text ensure fast troubleshooting and optimisation.
The labeller has a user-friendly control panel with display and intuitive keys. The panel provides access to a programme database with up to 100 programmes.

Højer Pølser faced significant challenges with repacking, particularly with their softer cold cuts like brawn/pickled products. The traditional aluminum applicator plates used during packaging lacked the necessary spring-back ability, leading to damaged packages and increased repacking time—an inefficiency that was both frustrating and unacceptable.
In the fast-paced food industry, Højer Pølser often operates under tight delivery deadlines set by retailers and customers. This necessitates reliable equipment and flawless labelling to uphold their high standards of quality.
”It just works! With the new plastic springloaded applicator plates, it just works. There have been no problems with repacking, and it applies as it should. We have used the reliable HM Cross Web labellers for the past 20 years. Now with the upgraded HM solution, we have ensured an optimized and future-proof production setup.”
Gerd Müller - Owner at Højer Pølser
We developed new plastic spring-loaded applicator plates for our Cross Web machines designed specifically to improve the packaging process for delicate products like those offered by Højer Pølser.
Since the implementation of the new plastic applicator plates, Højer Pølser has experienced remarkable improvements. The production line now runs smoothly without the need for repacking. For their brawn/pickled products alone, this solution has resulted in a significant 10% reduction in repacking time, allowing for more efficient operations and higher quality assurance.
HM Spring-Loaded Applicator Plates:
An adaptable option for the Cross Web Labeller, designed to apply labels efficiently to uneven and curved surfaces. This feature ensures precise labelling, even on challenging products like the sausages at Højer Pølser.
