Radiator Controls - Heating How You Like It With the UK committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 80% by 2050, electric heating has been thrust into the spotlight, being heralded as the future of home heating. As electricity generation moves gradually toward renewable technologies such as solar, wind, hydro, and wave, the number of homes adopting electric radiators will greatly increase. Given just how flexible and versatile these radiators are in comparison to conventional central heating models, a mass switch to electricity can only be good.

Putting you in Control One of the great benefits of electric radiators is their ability to allow the user to take full control of their heating. Unlike their wet system counterparts, which are powered by a central boiler and main thermostat, radiators that run on electricity can be powered in several different ways, all of which allow you to generate instant heat whenever you need it. EHC radiators come with four different control methods: 1. Standard Radiator The standard radiator comes with what is the most common of electric radiator controls: a side panel thermostat. These radiators are supplied with a 13-amp plug allowing them to be plugged into any UK socket, while temperature is controlled with a simple dial. 2. TDI Radiator Like standard radiators, TDI models can be plugged into a 13-amp plug socket; however, temperature control is much more advanced. TDI controls are built in to the side panel of the radiator, giving users the
