The conch is found by piggy and ralph and that is how they call the others and it used to set rules, and more than anything to be able to talk. Discovery of the Beast from Simon’s point of view

Simon is the one who discovers that the supposed beast of the island did not exist and that it is nothing more than the body of a dead aviator. His parachute had gotten tangled up and caught between the trees. Simon cuts the lines of the parachute and allows the body to drop. After doing that he quickly goes to the others to tell them that there was no beast.

Simon’s Illness

Simon also suffers from epileptic seizures and continually faints in front of the children. Simon is the only boy on the island who truly understands the nature of the beast.

PIGGY’S DEATH

Roger drops a stone they used to protect the bridge and falls on Piggy causing him to fall off a cliff. He fell backward and his head burst open from the impact. His body is swept away by the water.

The shell was also destroyed during this incident.

RESCUE

Ralph clings to the notion that his father, who just so happens to be in the Royal Navy, will find and rescue them.Ralph hides in the jungle and thinks miserably about the chaos that has overrun the island. He thinks about the deaths of Simon and Piggy and realizes that all vestiges of civilization have been stripped from the island.
