IT’S ALREADY YOUR PASSION. MAKE IT YOUR CAREER.

A major in the arts isn’t a choice— it’s a calling. But talent and passion will only get you so far. If you want to succeed in the creative world, you’ll also need dedication, inspiration, and training (to name a few). Coker’s programs in performing and visual arts are designed to help you put all these pieces together to create the career you want. AT C O K E R , Y O U C A N E X P E C T:

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

In the classroom, one-on-one training gives you the technical and artistic skills you need, all supported by a core of liberal arts coursework to expand your mind and creativity.

From performance opportunities your freshman year to a defining capstone experience or exhibit as a senior, you will actively apply your new skills from day one. Off-campus experiences (like conferences, internships, tours, and study abroad) take your education even further.

SUPPORT & INSPIRATION Coker students don’t settle. Expect to be inspired by a community of artists—both classmates and professors— who will challenge your ideas and push you to create and achieve on a higher level.
