NEWS Dear Students and Parents,
Kính gửi Quí phụ huynh cùng các em học sinh, As I sat on the stage of the Saigon Opera House last Saturday watching the 2013 Graduation Ceremony unfold, I reflected on everything that went in to making that special day a reality for the ISHCMC American Academy Seniors and their parents. My gratitude and appreciation goes out to everyone on staff for their hard work and the many long hours it took to prepare all aspects of this most important ceremony. Khi tôi ngồi trên sân khấu của Nhà Hát Thành Phố vào Thứ Bảy tuần trước chứng kiến buổi lễ tốt nghiệp và tổng kết năm học 2012 - 2013 diễn ra, buổi lễ đã cho tôi cảm nhận đây thật sự là một ngày trọng đại và khó quên của tất các em học sinh và phụ huynh đã có mặt tại buổi lễ. Tôi xin cảm ơn tất cả giáo viên, học sinh và tập thể nhân viên nhà trường đã tích cực chuẩn bị để buổi lễ quan trọng nhất được thành công tốt đẹp. Moreover, this gratitude goes beyond the hours of planning and logistics of the actual ceremony. I want to acknowledge the dedication of the teachers and staff of the ISHCMC American Academy who worked with this senior class for the past 06 years to provide them with a superior education. Students have graduated with Advanced Placement credits as well university transcripts from Syracuse University through the SUPA program. They have earned over 1 million USD for their university studies and they have been accepted to many prestigious universities around the world. Hơn nữa, sự biết ơn này còn dành cho công tác chuẩn bị tiến hành từ lúc lên kế hoạch cho tới ngày buổi lễ diễn ra và đã được đầu tư nhiều thời gian. Tôi muốn ghi nhận sự cống hiến của các giáo viên và nhân viên của ISHCMC American Academy đã làm việc với các em học sinh tốt nhiệp trong 06 năm học vừa qua để mang đến cho các em học sinh một nền tảng giáo dục chất lượng cao. Học sinh tốt nghiệp với các tín chỉ Advanced Placement (AP) cũng như bảng điểm đại học từ Đại học Syracuse thông qua chương trình SUPA. Các em học sinh tốt nghiệp đã đạt được hơn 1 triệu USD tiền học bổng khi được nhận vào học tại các trường đại học trong đó có rất nhiều trường đại học có uy tín cao trên thế giới. Looking to the future, American Academy will be expanding the Advanced Placement program, as well as add two more SUPA course offerings of Biology and Public Affairs. In addition, our new After School Activities (ASA) Coordinator, Bob Conner is currently planning a very strong ASA and Competitive Athletics program for the 2013-14 school year.
