The 15th annual Philly Tech Week presented by Comcast was a powerful testament to the strength and unity of our local community! Over 80 partners, including community organizations, local businesses, and grassroots leaders, came together to host events that reflected the vibrant culture and innovation thriving across Philadelphia. These events spanned diverse neighborhoods, ensuring that tech conversations and opportunities were accessible to all corners of the city. Philly Tech Week’s impact was amplified through the diverse range of events featured on the community calendar, ensuring there was something for everyone. Attendees could engage in events covering a variety of topics like art and design, AI, and entrepreneurship, alongside technical workshops, expert panel discussions, and pitch competitions. For those seeking inspiration or networking opportunities, insightful talks by industry leaders and casual happy hours fostered connection and collaboration. This variety highlighted Philly Tech Week’s commitment to inclusivity, offering access points for individuals from all backgrounds, skill levels, and interests to shape the future of technology in Philadelphia.


Tech as a Catalyst for Economic Mobility
The 1Philadelphia Exchange was a standout moment during Philly Tech Week 2025, convening over 200 professionals from across the region for a half-day of bold conversation and community-building. Designed as a high-impact gathering for founders, funders, ecosystem builders, and civic leaders, the event featured three panel discussions focused on the intersection of digital equity, economic mobility, tech, and philanthropy. It offered attendees a rare opportunity to engage in deep dialogue around systemic challenges and explore actionable strategies for inclusive innovation.
The Exchange served as a powerful platform for cross-sector collaboration, with participants walking away with a clearer picture of the regional tech and innovation landscape. More importantly, it helped reframe how Philadelphia can position itself—not just as a city that supports innovation, but as one that leads with equity and intention.









Storytelling for Accessibility & Reach
Technical.ly's Builders Conference was a featured event of PTW25, drawing over 250 tech and economic development professionals from over 25 states across the country. The twoday conference covered a wide array of engaging topics, from storytelling and ecosystem building to the evolving role of AI in various industries. Attendees also gained valuable advice for startup success, including how to perfect a pitch, achieve product-market fit, and avoid common legal pitfalls.






By uniting entrepreneurs, ecosystem leaders and technical professionals, the Builders Conference served as a catalyst for innovation and a cornerstone of Philadelphia’s thriving tech ecosystem. It embodied the essence of Philly Tech Week—collaboration, growth, and the power of community.

The Future Forward Startup event spotlighted the energy, creativity, and resilience of Philadelphia’s startup ecosystem. Drawing a packed house of founders, funders, and ecosystem supporters, the event created space for early-stage entrepreneurs to share their stories and connect with mentors and investors that can help take their companies to the next level.
Future Forward was a clear statement that Philadelphia is a city where entrepreneurs can launch, grow, and thrive. The event highlighted the range of industries and ideas being driven by local talent—from tech and health innovation to consumer products and social impact. What better time to kick off this new program than Philly Tech Week? Over the course of the week 10 founders from across the country joined 1Philadelphia for a curated introduction to Philly’s entrepreneurship scene and the opportunities the city brings founders.





Building Pathways for Technologists
Technical.ly’s Developers Conference was a full-day gathering brought together a vibrant community of 250 technologists passionate about software development and emerging technologies. The conference offered a rich mix of technical deep dives, hands-on workshops, and expert-led discussions designed to engage developers at all skill levels. Attendees delved into cutting-edge topics such as simplifying the complexities of Python for AI, the future of digital certificates, leveraging computers for poetry composition, advancements in quantum computing, and more.

The event underscored the pivotal role developers play in driving innovation within the tech ecosystem. It created a unique space for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and professional growth, reinforcing the importance of developers in shaping the future of technology. Following the sessions, participants had the chance to network at the Super Meetup, connecting with peers, industry leaders, and potential collaborators. This opportunity for meaningful engagement reflected Philly Tech Week’s mission to empower and unite Philadelphia’s thriving tech community.
