COCOCO CULTURE Our remarkably comfortable furniture is bench-made in our own small plant in Newton, North Carolina by experienced craftsmen and women using the best materials and time tested techniques. The Comfortable Couch Company offers a complete line of sofas, sectionals, chairs, ottomans and benches, and even beds, with timeless styling in either full grain leathers or fine fabrics. Many of our pieces are very similar to the styles offered by large corporate retailers like Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel. In many cases, these large retailers have shifted their furniture production from its historical home in North Carolina’s furniture belt to huge factory cities in China. LEXINGTON SECTIONALS
Available in 25" and 29" seat depths. (43" and 48" overall depth) We have an unmatched ability to configure sectionals. In the Lexington style we offer cushion sizes of 24", 27", 30", 33" 36" 39" and 42". Any combinations of these may be configured into a sectional using single cushion or two cushion pieces or three cushion pieces made be made using up to a 33"cushion. Left or right facing Chaise pieces are available to match each cushion size. Example 1: A customer wants an "L" shaped sectional with the 25" seat depth so she will use the 42" corner. Her space allows up to 125" on the long side of an "L" sectional, and she really wants to have that length, but the shorter side cannot be longer than 101". She would have two options with the Lexington. Using 24" cushions we could use two cushions on the short side and three on the long side for an overall dimension of 125" x 101". Alternatively. we could use two 36" cushions for the longside and one on the short side creating overall dimensions of 125" x 89". Example 2: A Customer wants a two piece Chaise Sectional with a loveseat and a chaise and can handle up to 115". In order to determine the size that will fit her space, we have only to subtract the 20" total length of the two arms from the optimal total length of 115" giving us 95". Divide that number by three ( two seats on one piece and one seat on the chaise) gives you 31.3". the closest cushion size is 30" so we would make this sectional with 30" cushions achieving a total length of 112". Example 3: A customer is looking at Corner Sectional using two 36" on each side of the corner making the total length on each side 124" (42" corner plus 72" for the cushions and 10" for the arm). He decides to add a chaise to the left side, he will need to add 36" to that side for the additional cushion on the Left Facing Chaise making it now 160" on the left side. HINT: When describing a sectional, the right or left side is always based on which side is to your right or left when you are standing in front of the sectional looking at it, not sitting on it.
