Torrevieja's valuable win After looking down and losing the last two games, CD Torrevieja bounced back in style with a 3.1 win on the road, on Saturday. What difference a week made, with the Torry team coming out and this time not only firing on all cylinders but scoring much needed goals for a change against a Paterna team who were not quite sure what hit them. This was the first official meeting between the two clubs who although they are based in Albal they play in Sedav铆. They entered the division last season under the name Club Deportivo Col贸n before changing to Club de F煤tbol Recambios Col贸n Valencia. Because of an injury that prevented him from playing in this game, Vicente Boix didn't play on Saturday, being the only torrevejense player to have played

every minute of the championship. Neither of the teams fielded a substitute goalkeeper, with the victory giving Torrevieja their first on the road victory, and fourth overall, in this championship. CD Torrevieja's next home game is against UD Rayo Ibense, in the Nelson Mandela Stadium on Sunday December 13th, 2015 at 5.00pm. This is the only home game during December with the next home game being in the New Year after the Christmas break. For the moment the team are playing just beside the Vicente Garcia Stadium on the artificial grass of the Nelson Mandela, while the pitch is reseeded in the Vicente Garcia. Presidente to meet players as CD Montesinos rocked by bottom club San Isidro By Andrew Atkinson Cd Montesinos 2-2 San Isidro CD Montesinos were left shell-shocked by bottom club San Isidro in a 2-2 draw at the Municipal Stadium in the Segunda Regional Grupo 15. After the 3-0 defeat against Racing San Miguel last week, CD Montesinos coach Roberto was looking for a reaction from his players - against a team that had conceded 41 goals going into the game. The result has left management looking for a resolution, starting with a meeting with club Presidente Felipe and the players yesterday, Monday. A General Meeting today (Tuesday Nov 31) at Bar La Esquina, Los Montesinos, will look into an 'inquest' as to what has gone wrong in CD Montesinos last two outings. CD Montesinos were left to rue chances, after persistent pressure on the San Isidro goal saw the strikers fail to capitalise. Wallace, ORourke and Paredes were the culprits, after wasting chances in the opening 20 minutes. The breakthrough finally came on the half hour mark, when a direct free kick on the edge of the San Isidro penalty area was fired into the net by ORourke, to give CD Montesinos a 1-0 lead. San Isidro then rocked Montesinos and the home crowd, when they equalised on 32 minutes, from their first attack on goal, following a defensive mistake, to leave Lopez stranded. ORourke was then booked for dissent, after retaliating to a foul. HT 1-1. Three minutes into the second half CD Montesinos again had a chance to net, only for Carlos shooting well over the bar, with only the keeper to beat. CD Montesinos Coach Roberto made a double-substitution on 61 minutes, when taking off Wallace and Parades, being replaced by Manu and M&A. Two minutes after making the substitutions CD Montesinos were rocked again when San Isidro took a shock 2-1 lead, from only their second attempt on the home goal. With time running out, and the disillusioned fans'

frustrations telling, CD Montesinos levelled at 2-2 following a Fernando cross, which was met by Carlos to net. And in the dying seconds CD Montesinos almost snatched a victory, only for ORourke to agonisingly look on as the San Isidro keeper pulled off a brilliant save to thwart him. CD Montesinos dropped to seventh place in the table, with San Isidro still glued to the bottom of the division - despite taking an unexpected point. CD Montesinos team: Lopez; Macan; Fernando, Mario; Carlos; Manu; ORourke; Parades; J. Antonio; Wallace; Pley. Subs: Moises; J. Manu; Nico; Dario; M&A. Roberto Cases is confident that CD Montesinos FC can bounce back after the disappointing defeat to Racing San Miguel in the 2nd Regional Segunda Grupo League on November 22nd. "I am not worried," said new CD Montesinos FC coach Roberto, who replaced Juanpe at the Municipal Stadium at the end of last season. He spoke exclusively to the Coast Rider ahead of Sunday's drawn game against San Isidro. And Roberto believes the next three fixtures, can prove that the team are back on track. After the game against San Isidro, CD Montesinos face CD Almoradi 'B'; Todo Deporte; and

Dep. Orihuela, ahead of the Christmas and New Year break. Red cards: including one for Roberto himself and yellow card bookings have blighted the good start to the campaign, with just two defeats in 11 games. Striker Wallace was back in the squad against San Isidro, after serving a one match ban that led to him missing the 3-0 defeat at Racing San Miguel. Key player Dimitry missed CD Montesinos' game against San Isidro, after picking up five yellow cards. "It was good to get Wallace back against San Isidro, but disappointing to lose Dimitry, due to receiving five yellow cards," said Roberto. With a squad of 20 players, Roberto said: "With such a tight squad, small in numbers, matches like the one at San Miguel will happen. "As long as we react positively, all is okay." Elsewhere, league leaders CD Dolores defeated second placed CD Benijofar 1-0 in a top of the table clash to chalk up their tenth win of the season, to go four points clear. SS Fulgencio failed to capitalise on their chase to reduce the gap between league leaders CD Dolores and second spot CD Benijofar in the Segunda Regional Grupo 15 on Saturday. SS Fulgencio travel to CD Dolores this weekend (December 6th) in what is a mouth-watering fixture - with 60 plus goals netted between the clubs this season. Third placed SS Fulgencio could only manage a share of the spoils in a 1-1 home draw against tenth placed Dep. Orihuela, who remain in the lower half of the table. CD Almoradi 'B' defeated CD Borneo 3-1 away to jump above them into mid-table, it being their fourth win of the campaign, a result that whets the appetite as they host CD Montesinos on December 6th. Results: Saturday (Nov 28) CD Borneo 1-3 CD Almoradi B; SS Fulgencio 1-1 Dep. Orihuela. Sunday results (Nov 29): RP Orihuela 2-1 CD Murada; R. Orihuela 2-2 Todo Dep; CD Montesinos 2-2 San Isidro; CD Benijofar 0-1 CD Dolores; SP Orihuela 1-3 Racing San Miguel.
