Welcome! Welcome to Garreg Goch Caravan Park! Thank you for choosing Garreg Goch Caravan Park as your holiday destination. Enclosed in this information pack is information regarding your Holiday Home (how things work etc.) our Park and the facilities we offer. There is also some information on the surrounding area – places to go, places to eat etc. During your stay please do not hesitate to ask if you require any further help or advice. If you need ideas on where to visit in and around the local area please call into our Reception area where we have leaflets on many places that are well worth a visit. Departure On your departure we kindly ask you to do the following: Check out no later than 10am Strip the bed of the bed linen (sheet, duvet cover and pillow cases. Please leave mattress protectors on) and put in the bag provided. Dispose of all rubbish and don’t leave anything behind. Leave the key inside on the table and the door closed. Please let Reception know your departure time at least one day before you are due to depart.
Wi-Fi We do have free Wi-Fi on park. When connecting please select the number of your caravan GG.. password is letvan123.
Opening Times-Reception, Shop, Bakery & Laundry Reception: See displayed times in the window of Reception for opening and closing hours. If you require anything urgent and reception is closed please call the number displayed on the Reception door. Shop: The opening and closing times are the same as the Reception hours. Here you will find our DVD selection, toys, souvenirs, drinks, ice lollies, beers, leaflets for days out & a small variety of home essentials. Bakery: We do have an onsite bakery! Our bakery is based in the Reception area. Our bakery collection times are 9.30am-11.30am 7 days a week. We do ask that if you wish to order, please order the day before with reception. Please check our bakery board outside reception for what we have to offer. Laundry: Our laundry area is located at the back of Reception. Opening times are 9.00am-5.00pm 7 days a week. Our machines accept 50p, £1.00 & £2.00. The washing machines are £3.00 per wash and our dryers are £1.00 per 22 minutes.
General Waste There are many different types of wildlife that are living throughout the Park with us hidden away. It is for this reason that we ask you to dispose of your waste in the correct way. We have RECYCLE bins located in the bin area to the right of Reception (see map). These bins are for glass, plastic, cardboard, tin and general waste. We ask all guests to RECYCLE as much of their waste as possible. Please use the recycle bins between 9am and 7pm Doggy waste: Please dispose of dog waste in the specific dog waste bins provided around the Park. Sink and Toilet Waste: Please do not flush Wipes, Nappies or Sanitary protection down the toilet as this can cause problems with the drainage. We also ask that you do not tip fat down the sinks as this also causes a problem with drainage.

Accidents If you or a family member are involved or seen an accident happen on park, please contact a member of staff immediately. If an emergency please call 999 and state you holiday home number and address of the park. Getting Around Taxis There are a number of excellent Taxi firms that run in the local area. Here are a few number’s to get you started! 595 Taxi - 07866 595595 Dukes - 01766514799 Criccieth Taxi - 01766 522726 By Train Direct train services run to the popular North Wales coastal destinations from most parts of Britain, with inland connections onto the Conwy Valley Line which runs through the Snowdonia National Park to Betws y Coed and onwards to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Walk Black Rock Sands Beach is only a five minute walk where the views are spectacular. Or you can either head for Porthmadog town itself which takes around forty minutes or for the more energetic, Criccieth Castle between one & two hours walking distance. Directions to Black Rock Sands Beach We have a foot path right next to Reception. Follow the path down to the bottom and turn right and keep going till you hit the beautiful beach! 5-10 minutes’ walk.
Important Notice Regarding Pets We ask that all pets are kept on leads whilst walking around our park and are under control by a responsible adult at all times. It is your responsibility to clean up any waste and deposit in the designated doggy bins provided throughout the park. We ask all guests not to leave pets unattended in their holiday accommodation for great lengths of time. You accommodation can get very warm and can cause distress to your pet. If you report any maintenance problems during your stay, we ask that you notify reception staff that you have a pet. In some cases, maintenance may not be able to enter your accommodation without you being there.
Boiler Instructions Boost Button: Not all our caravans have this boost button. If yours does please press the touch button and the heating will come on straight away.
Timer Control: 0 – Permanently off Clock Symbol – Timer Control 1 – Permanently on
If you caravan doesn’t have the boost button please go to the boiler and use the buttons provided on the boiler.

A vast panorama awaits visitors to this beautifully unspoilt landscape. Garreg Goch Caravan Park is immaculately maintained in a secluded location which benefits from its close proximity to the beach. A short stroll along a hedgerow lined footpath leads to Black Rock Sands, with its wide expanse of beach and stunning location. From the coast, the scenery in this area is spectacular, with its majestic mountains, rolling sheep dotted hills, forests and winding rivers. Looking back from the hills the coastline is magnificent, its sheltered bays and wide sandy beaches perfect for bathing and water-sports. Within a short drive are the beautiful coastal village of Criccieth, the harbour and town of Porthmadog, and the mountain village of Beddgelert. The Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway lines culminate in Porthmadog, making them the starting place for many wonderful adventures into the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia. Harlech, Pwhelli, Abersoch and Caernaerfon are all within a short and scenic journey from the park, making Garreg Goch the perfect location for a sightseeing holiday with a peaceful and attractive base to which visitors can return. In addition to the contemporary, high quality holiday homes available for hire at Garreg Goch, there are often holiday homes available to buy. Touring guests and those with Motor-homes are also made welcome on the park, with pitches offering 16 amp electric hook ups and your own individual water point. Pets are welcome all season at Garreg Goch and there are some wonderful coastal and countryside walks to be enjoyed direct from the park. The Garreg Goch season runs from 1st March to 10th January.
