oad Safety At Work is a WorkSafeBC initiative to help employers improve the safety of workers who drive for work or who work at the roadside. Road Safety At Work offers free online resources and courses — as well as workshops and advisory services — to help organizations plan, implement and monitor an effective road safety program. “A strong road safety program lets your employees know that you care about them, which can positively influence their engagement and how they approach their work, including their safe driving behaviour” says Rick Walters, Road Safety At Work’s fleet safety manager. “It can also help you attract and retain the best and brightest employees, which will improve your bottom line, and act as a strong competitive advantage for your company.”
