WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOR THE GAME? I expect that our players will strive to be at their best and represent Columbus North and the Columbus community to the best of their ability.

the 7-minute mark of the pregame warm-up, we return to the locker room briefly to put the blue-and-white stripe pants away and go over any possible lineup changes for the other team. Paige Littrell typically leads a C-O-L-U-M-B-U-S cheer in a huddle right after the starting lineup is announced.

HOW WILL HUFFMAN’S ABSENCE AFFECT THE GAME? Ashlyn is not cleared to play yet following the injury she sustained in the regional final against Evansville Central. With Ashlyn unable to play, others will be asked to step up and help fill Ashlyn’s role as a primary ball-handler, capable scorer, strong defender and excellent all-around player.

WHAT IS THE TEAM’S GREATEST STRENGTH? The team’s strengths include strong fundamentals, a composed demeanor and a never-quit attitude. Even when things are not going well, this team does not panic and finds a way to compete.

HOW IS THIS YEAR’S TEAM DIFFERENT FROM LAST YEAR’S? The 2014-15 Bull Dogs was a guard-oriented team that typically played four guards and one post. The 2015-16 Bull Dogs typically play three guards and two posts, giving the squad a more balanced inside-outside attack. Both teams have performed at a high level even though the tactics have been a bit different for the two units.

WHAT IS THE TEAM’S PREGAME ROUTINE? They typically listen to music and dance (and sometimes sing) in the locker room before games. Coach Isaak typically gives the first pregame talk, other coaches will address the team and Coach McCaa usually gives the final pregame talk. About

NOW HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE GOING BACK TO STATE? I am very happy for this group of players and all they have accomplished. Many people outside our player-coach group expressed doubt that this team would excel the way it has. Thus, it is a thrill to see the 2015-16 Bull Dogs perform at such a high level.
