“Don’t just look at the world. Look into the deeper parts of the Galaxy and you will find true wisdom.”

(CMDR Arthur Ryan)

Who are we?

We are Extrasolar Xenobiology Organisation [EXO] (we are not a squadron in the terms of the game)

We bring together young and experienced xenobiology adepts. We have experienced scientists and people willing to expand their knowledge about the biology of distant planets.

As our name suggests we are an Organisation focused on research We focus on researching: - Exobiology - Xenobiology - Guardian Technology Those are the main points that we focus on

Introduction

Admission word

A long time ago, the great explorer, ancestor of The Ryan Family - Arthur Ryan, went for an expedition to find Raxxla After a few years of his journey, the contact with him disappeared We don’t know what happened, but we truly believe he found what he was looking for - The Raxxla

Every time our journey is a little stone for the memorial monument of our dear great-great-grandpa - CMDR Arthur Ryan We have our eyes wide open and our ears on alert to hear the slightest whisper saying “Raxxla”

In some parts, the Ellipse Trip covers the known route of Arthur’s last journey. That’s why we hope to find a trace showing a way to the unknown story of our ancestor.

Mission objectives

During the conjunction of Mercury and Venus and the first new moon in June, we will go on an expedition: "Ellipse Trip" As the name suggests, the expedition refers to the most important shape in the Universe – an ellipse In this roundabout way, we will fly through unknown systems to look for what is undiscovered

Our journey is an excellent school for new commanders You can take even a basic sidewinder with you right after passing your pilot's licence and you will come back with knowledge and billions in your account We will teach you everything And if you can, we'll just have fun

We have two research projects in progress. You can help us to collect data for them and still have a lot of money from exobiology.

Mission is financed from private funds of the Ryan Family. All costs of tritium are covered. There is no need to mine tritium during the whole trip.

Research projects

1 Project “Green Gold” – Surface temperatures and Stratum Tectonicas

This project is about stratum tectonicas, the very famous flora from distant worlds

We want to research if well-knowing environmental conditions fully reflect reality We suppose that stratum tectonicas can be present on other planets with lower temperatures too.

2. Project “Ambitious Planet”– One bio-signal body.

We want to find dependencies to predict when on the one bio-signal body you can find something more interesting than just simple bacteria.

Every participant can submit their own research idea.

Attractions

SRV race - 9.06

Completely unprofessional, crazy and spontaneous side activity. Form of escape from tedious looking for exofauna. We have this habit of someone screaming: “the first person in one piece on the other side of this crater wins!”. Except that there are no prizes.

Dogfights - 29.06

One rule: pulse lasers only, but you can choose between gimballed and standard versions And only in Haulers Ok, nerd, make it two rules

Ships race - 6.07

Run Forrest, run behind the planet. Land there at indicated coordinates and go back to the Carrier as fast as possible.

Plant Eater competition - 7.07

You have an SVR, you have a bio scanner, and you need to find three samples of a particular plant The faster one wins

Hall Of Fame - end of the journey

At the end of the journey we will make the Hall of Fame of our trip. We will honour individual achievements:

1 For the system with most bodies (screenshot proof)

2. Total profit for organic data*

3. For the highest amount of first footfalls*

4. Side activity winners

*Make a screenshot of the exploration and exobiology stats from codex and send to CMDR MichaelRyan at discord before and after the trip

Preparations

1 Add our carriers to the bookmarks in Galaxy Map

2 Make a screenshot of the exploration stats from codex and send to CMDR MichaelRyan at discord (If you want to take a part of The Hall of Fame at the end of the journey)

3 Make sure you don’t have illegal stuff, bounties, fees or notoriety

4 Take your favourite pet on the board

5 If you have an idea for the research, send a brief outline of the study You can do it while travelling too

6. Take your favourite ship, outfit, suit, but remember you can buy everything on the Carrier without additional fees.

7. Take materials for engineers and engineering. Especially data and manufactured materials.

8. If you want to collect RAW materials in an easy way, buy a flak launcher, missile rack and/or mines launcher.

9. Send your med data to our medical stuff to make sure they can take care of you if you need it. Exploration can be a little dangerous.

Trivias

- We take with us around 55 000 T of tritium worth almost 3 B Cr

- Our main carrier travelled more than 70 thousand light years we will double that

- Exologic Alpha did almost 250 jumps, after this trip it will be around 500 jumps

- You can take 40 ships with yourself to our carrier

- At this moment carrier has more than 50 ships and almost 400 modules stored

- Ships and modules in our shop weight 15 148 T

- Carrier needs 130 T of tritium per jump

- Our three expedition carriers are commanded by members of Ryan family

Insurance

Help and rescue

Although insurance is not included, that doesn’t mean you are exposed to the risk on our journey

Our team can help you if you have troubles in your research mission We can help to bring you back to our carrier with our refuelling and repair staff Just let us know you need help

Rescue Agent: CMDR Kexel

If you need to go back to the Bubble (last visited station to be precise) you can still use our very safe Escape Pods. You can find them near the bridge at the Fleet Carrier.

Disclaimer

We make every effort to ensure that this trip runs smoothly, but things happen and IRL can make some delays to our timetable.
