ON Saturday, November 3rd, the sky will be illuminated by an even bigger and better display of aerial fireworks and pyrotechnics for Betley Bonfire!
Once again, Stanworth's Funfair is in attendance, with rides suitable for children and adults of all ages, with 'giant'-rides for the brave amongst you and gentler ones for the rest of us!
As ever, the venue is Betley Court Farm (by kind permission of Mr. and Mrs. F. Speed). Betley Bonfire (which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2009) is one of the largest events in the whole of the UK. The gates open at 4pm, and the bonfire will be lit at 6pm. The fireworks extravaganza will start later in the evening, once the bonfire is 'going strong' and the expectant crowds
