Lloyd stars as Joseph in all his glory!!
Now, following a hugely successful year as Eponine in ‘Les Misérables’ in London’s West End, she has joined the cast of ‘Joseph’ as Narrator.
A TRIO of television stars have joined the UK’s longest-running musical, ‘Joseph and the Matt Lapinskas plays Pharaoh in his first Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, which visits musical theatre role. Famed for playing Anthony Moon in ‘Eastenders’, Matt was Hanley’s Regent Theatre in September. With a crash-of-drums and a flight-oflights, ‘X Factor’ finalist, Lloyd Daniels makes his musical theatre debut in the eponymous title-role of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sparkling show.

This colourful retelling of the Biblical story about Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours sings out to young and old alike with a score, which is crammed wallto-wall with hits, including ‘Those Canaan Days’, ‘Jacob and Sons’, ‘Close Every Door To Me’ and ‘Any Dream Will Do’. Having garnered sensational reviews and standing ovations at every performance since its inception almost 35 years ago, Bill Kenwright’s production of the legendary, family musical has, now, sold an estimated 15 million tickets.
The youngest contestant in 2009’s competition, Daniels progressed to the final five out of 250,000 entrants, and performed in front of ten million television viewers. Since then, he has performed to sold-out arenas on a 56-date ‘X Factor’ tour and released popular single, ‘Suburban Girl’. Danielle Hope captured the hearts of the country when she won BBC TV’s ‘Over the Rainbow’, and made her professional debut as Dorothy in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at the London Palladium.
