Detail

Bimota motorcycles sold through the Kawasaki Motors Europe N.V. (KME) dealer network will be covered by an EU wide warranty only via authorised KME Bimota dealers. Authorised KME Bimota distributors should share this information in the appropriate way as needed to inform their applicable dealers.

Warranty coverage:

24 months for road motorcycles. 6 months for spare parts. Refer to the warranty terms and conditions for details.

WarrantyPlus is not available for Bimota products. However, due to system configuration, the WarrantyPlus registration function in DealerNet cannot be switched off for these models. Should a WarrantyPlus registration be incorrectly made, it will be subsequently removed by KME After Sales Department (ASD).

Warranty Registration:

The Bimota motorcycle must be warranty registered in DealerNet in the same way as a Kawasaki product.

Welcome letter:

Following warranty registration, the customer will receive a welcome letter from KME

Certificate of conformity (CoC):

A Bimota CoC is available to print from the DealerNet system once warranty registration has been completed.

The same process is to be followed as for a Kawasaki motorcycle warranty registration. The CoC should be handed over to the customer with the motorcycle.

Warranty coverage for units not sold by authorised KME Bimota dealers: This warranty is not available from KME for Bimota products sold by other distributors with direct contracts with Bimota, such as, but not limited to, those in Switzerland, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Israel.

KME acts as a distributor for Bimota in a limited number of EU markets, for which KME receives a predefined contribution to pay any resulting warranty claims. The only exception would be for recall claims. If needed, these may be processed in the same way as a recall claim for an imported Kawasaki product.

Warranty booklet & Owner’s Manual (OM):

Warranty booklet & Owner’s Manual (OM):
