2. Attendance- see attached sign in sheet 3. Minutes – Minutes were approved as read.

4. Treasurer’s Report- The balance on hand was $3,460.

5. Unfinished Business a. Dues and club paperwork- Members without paperwork were asked to fill out the paperwork so they may go to events with Kiwanis insurance in effect. b. Region Training Conference- Many club members attended and enjoyed their time in the sessions and meeting new club members from other schools. c. Board meeting- Meeting postponed due to many problems, and was moved to Thursday October 6th at Starbucks at 6:15 p.m. d. Havana Nights- Members did not go; the people in charge of Havana nights were upset that they could not count on us. We have a reputation for helping, making this a bad moment.

Communication is vital so that they may do better in the future. e. PTP fundraiser- We are skipping Homecoming Friday; in the Month of October there will be another list for fundraising. It is required that members fundraise for PTP in order to go to Fall Rally. f.

See’s candy sales- There is a sign-up sheet going around for the month of October.

Cloverdale High School Key Club

g. Oktoberfest- We will be working from 1-8 p.m. Make sure you attend, if you signed-up, They will be three and 1/2 hour shifts for every member. We checked with members and found that 10 members were planning to help at Oktoberfest.

6. New Business a. Awake-a-Thon- Members going to get ready for Fall Rally, and learn new cheers and go to a DCM. The event is Friday night, October 7th to the morning of October 8th. It’s being held at a Windsor church. The cost for pre-registration is $20, but the club will pay $5 of that. b. Fall Rally- Members will go to the first rally, for the Key Club auction; then they have the chance to go around to the rides at Six Flags. We need to fundraise to go and pay for Kiwanis members attending as well as their parking fees. The cost per member is $40. An extra $15 is charged if a member does not already have a division t-shirt. In addition, members can pre-purchase a $15 meal ticket for food to be eaten that day.
