2. Attendance- see attached sign in sheet 3. Minutes – Minutes were read online and approved.

4. Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer’s Report was dismissed.

5. Committee Reportsa. Table painting project-First meeting of the committee to be held at lunch time in Room 5, on Friday, September 5th. b. Fall Rally- Jessie talked about the committee to be formed to help us get sign-ups for the Six Flags event. Committee meeting will be at lunch time in Room 5 on Thursday, September 10th. c. Pediatric Trauma Program-Paige described the program, (how we raise money for children hospitalized through emergencies), and we took sign-ups for asking donations at Ray’s.

Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 9th at lunch time in Room 5. d. Community Appreciation-Maggie told how this committee will be planning ways of saying thank you to our community. The first meeting will be on September 14th at lunch time in Room 5.

6. Unfinished Business – a. Kiwanis LTG Dinner-Atziry reported that she loved the experience, especially meeting other members of Key Club. b. Macy’s Shop for a Cause Day-Lillian described how we passed out flyers at the entrances of both Macy’s in Santa Rosa. We were helping the March of Dimes.

CNH|KEY CLUB c. Child Care at Jefferson School-It was announced that this event was cancelled by the people in charge.

7. New Business a. Questions/Suggestion Box-Jessie described how we can use a “Question/Suggestion” box at each meeting to help members communicate with the officers. b. Different levels of Key Club-we took some time to help new members understand more about Key Club. Members can participate in any and all of these levels of our program. i. Club level-Alayna talked about activities that we do locally ii. Division level-Maggie shared details about division-activities iii. District level-Jessie described some of the district activities and projects iv. International level-Lillian gave details about international events and projects c. Kiwanis meetings in the morning-Tyler described attending Kiwanis meetings and we took sign-ups for taking members to future meetings. d. Kiwanis DCM in Ukiah-Jessie gave out the details and we took sign-ups. It’s on Saturday, September 5th. Meet at CHS at 8:00 a.m. e. Car Show booth-Helen talked about this. It will be on September 12th, pretty much all day.

We’re helping to sell bratwurst sandwiches and non-alcoholic drinks. We’ll need members to sign-up for 2-hour shifts. This brings in “Key Club Bucks”. f.

What are Key Club Bucks?-Alayna shared the fact that this is the term we call fundraising that brings in money a student can turn around and use for Key Club trips. For some events we are paid by the people running the event. We take that money and put it in the Key Club account and label it for the use of the members who work the event.
