2. Attendance- see attached sign in sheet 3. Minutes – Minutes were approved as read.

4. Treasurer’s Report- The balance on hand was $ 3,954.67 5. Unfinished Business a. Dues and club paperwork- Members were reminded to turn in paperwork if they plan to be active in the club; and the price for dues changes after our next meeting. It’s $10 until then, and $15 after the 11th. b. Board meeting- It will be Thursday, October 6th at 6:15 p.m. at Starbucks. Board members must attend; others are welcome. c. Oktoberfest- Members attended; many helped with the food service, others managed the non-alcoholic drinks table. d. PTP fundraiser- We took sign-ups for members and officers to fundraise for PTP. Members must have 2 hours in PTP fundraising in order to go to Fall Rally. e. See’s candy sales- There are no more spots left; we’re full up in terms of sales at Ray’s for the next couple of weeks. We also handed out See’s suckers to sell at school. f.

Attending Kiwanis meetings- Karla and Nicole will go this Thursday to the meeting.

g. Kiwanis Board meeting report- Jessica and Carmen attended. They talked about them approving our calendar and giving us donation; they are giving us $7,000 for our use this Key Club year.

6. New Business a. Member and Officer of the Month for September- Member of the Month is Anahi Ruiz and Atziry Rodriguez is Officer of the Month. b. Fall Dinner committee- We will meet during lunch on Thursday of this week to start to plan our Fall Dinner. It will be multicultural. Lillian volunteered to be the chairperson. c. Awake-a-Thon- Members must pay $15 to attend. The club is paying the other $5 that is needed to get in the door. Bring the money, pjs, blanket or sleeping bag, pillow, snacks, games, etc. We will meet at CHS at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. d. Fall Rally- Hope to have more members to have more spirit and dinos, and practice cheers.

An information sheet was handed out. We’ll talk more about it next week. e. Calendar- The club’s calendar for the month of October was handed out.
