2. Attendance- see attached sign in sheet 3. Minutes – Minutes were dispensed with.

4. Treasurer’s Report – was dispensed with.

5. Unfinished Business – a. Board meeting- One is being held tonight. Further ones will be held during lunch time on the second and fourth Fridays of the month. b. Key Club Information Sheets- were handed out by Paige and Bailey. Every potential member needs to complete one. It helps us keep track of our members.

6. New Business a. “Shoes” video- was shown. b. Fun Facts About Key Clubi. Sponsorship/International statistics- done by Jessie & told how “large” our club is ii. Key Club terms and acronyms- done by Maggie and talked about our events and the brochure that she created.

It’s now on-line at our club website in the

“Members” section. c. Introduction of the Board- each member introduced themselves giving name, grade, position, and favorite food. They are: President Jessie Marshall; Vice Presidents Maggie Duran and Paige Wasniak; Secretary Rose French; Treasurer Alayna Lorence; Scrapbook Editor Lillian Bearden; Webmaster Bailey Creager. Executive Assistants Landon Barry & Nick Schneider were also introduced. There are openings for more Executive Assistants.

Cloverdale High School Key Club

CNH|KEY CLUB d. Introduction of the Advisors- done by Jessie. They are: Kiwanis Advisor – Stephen Bearden and Faculty Advisor Sue Cummins. e. Pediatric Trauma Program- done by Paige who talked about prevention of trauma fundraising. We’re starting with outside of Ray’s, asking for donations. i. Explanation of cause- used to help prevent accidental trauma to children, sand to pay for doctor training and to help with children’s hospitals. ii. Each member going to Fall Rally must do at least 2 hours of fundraising in front of Ray’s iii. Other fundraising besides donation table at Ray’s- we’re planning other PTP fundraising, to be announced. f.

Macy’s Shop for a Cause Day- done Maggie. Members wishing to be involved need to meet at CHS at 9 a.m. We’re working from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. It’s for March of Dimes fundraising, sign-ups needed.

g. Special Olympics- done by Maggie. We’re leaving Cloverdale at 7 a.m. on Saturday and going to Napa to help with a softball tournament. h. Club Communicationi. Website- done by Bailey, talked about the Home Page and the overall website ii. Monthly calendars- done by Atzity, talked about what we do every month.

Calendars can be found on the website. We also go over them at the first meeting of every month. iii. Facebook page- done by Lillian and talked about how we could be contacted through Facebook. Every member should “Like” the Cloverdale High School Key Club Facebook page. iv. Newsletters- done by Paige and talked about how they are online. The August newsletter will be coming out tomorrow. v. Notes delivered to classes- done by Alayna and mentioned that these will be a reminder for students vi. Texting- done by Helen and talked about how cell phone numbers will be shared and lots of our club communication is through texting.
