We sell handmade products made by women in poor regions of the world to help them build a life for themselves and their families. Our revenue goes directly ‘return to sender’, contributing to better wages for the women.
Our business is all about connecting craft and creativity, resulting in a beautiful collection of handmade home deco, gifts and fashion items. Each product is developed with craftsmanship and the traditions of the makers, and inspired by the rich techniques and materials of their country.
Our Dutch designers are guided by this inspiration and bring their own expertise in colour and form. In this way, two worlds come together in one unique product: handmade products with a special story.

Thailand
Our vases are handmade and painted by a group of 50 makers in Thailand. The making of our vases is done with love and attention: painting the large flower vases takes about 3 hours. The vases are made of high-quality local white clay. A unique work of art in your interior.

The beautiful, sustainable glasses are made from recycled glass. Pieces of glass are melted together and blown into the right shape. The narrow base allows you to stack the glasses. How convenient is that!

Bangladesh
The baskets and placemats are made of kaisagrass. This thick hard grass grows along the banks of the delta in Bangladesh. After drying the grass, strands of it are made with recycled white plastic rope and the strands are sewn together to make baskets and placemats.
India
The decorative vases/candleholders are made in Firozabad, the ‘glass capital’ of India. Like most craft traditions, glass-making in India is an ancient skill. By buying these products, you help preserve the culture of this traditional craft.

Indonesia
Our candles are made from the seeds of sustainably planted palm trees. Palm requires very little water to grow, grows without fertilisers and produces much more oil than other plants. No deforestation or other damage to flora and fauna took place during the whole process.

These handmade bracelets from Mali are made from fabric from old African skirts that they wrap around palm leaves. On top of that, they thread Laura de Monchy's design with glass beads. These products are handmade from lokta paper. The paper comes from the lokta plant from the Himalayas and is handmade. The entire production process is so extensive that it involves at least 200 hands. Because the lokta plant grows back super fast, the material is very durable.
