A Letter From Jim Marrocco... In 1899, The Marrocco Family, started serving our friends, neighbors and newcomers, in their darkest hour of need. We have been proud to be a guiding light, during those times.
For the past 125 years the Marrocco family has remained vigilant in that service; remaining available twenty- four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year; which is nearly one million, one hundred thousand hours of continued service to our community. That is a record that we are extremely proud to have. Under my continued guidance, and as the fourth generation to serve our community, in January of 2023, I made the decision to partner with Brian J. and Deb Warner, owners of Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, in Wallington, NJ.
I have appointed Brian as our new manager and to assume the day-to-day management of Marroccos. Brian and Deb are community minded individuals, whose compassion and concern is second to none, and with Brian’s vast and specialized experience in the funeral industry, has only added to the level of service we provide. Under our joint leadership, we are prepared to launch our next one hundred and twenty-five years of service. Having spent the past fifty plus years in service to our community, I look forward to spending some quality time with my wife Nina, my grandchildren and family. I assure the community and those that know me and have known my family, that I am and will still be available to continue and fulfill the legacy of service started in 1899. Under Brian’s direction, he has assembled a diverse top-notch team. I am proud to say that the services we provide continues to grow; along with the “Marrocco Family.” Our newest Funeral Directors are Deb Warner, Mark Erich and Emmanuel Rayam and our firms’ registered interns’; Rianna Lindsey, Stephanie Oviedo and Sandra Rhei; as well as our non-licensed staff members, and our Associate Funeral Directors; Henry Marrocco, Mike Waller and Vincent Lombardo.
Through our continued growth, we are positioned to meet the ever changing, ever-growing needs of our diversifying community. Members of our staff are fluent in English, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Ukrainian and Korean; which represents just how diverse Clifton has become. In 2000 we constructed the largest funeral home in Clifton, and have just undertaken a major renovation to modernize our facility. As the culture of funerals are changing, we are poised to offer catered events for memorial services and ethnic celebrations. We are making investments in technology to help reduce the gap and distance between family members. We have streamlined many of our operational procedures, allowing families to take more control of making the decisions that are right for them. We will continue to make improvements that benefit the community. On behalf of the entire, “Marrocco Family,” I thank you for the commitment that your family has shown to our family for the past 125 years. I personally, along with our ever-growing staff, assure you that we will be here, and continue to serve your family, in the darkest hours, for the next 125 years; and even beyond.
