orking with a Newport Beach-based couple who wanted a weekend getaway spot in Los Angeles, Lindye Galloway and her team were tasked with creating a personal oasis within a large downtown highrise building. Clean and crisp from ceiling to floor, the space is all about precision and pops of impactful colors – white and marble alongside verdant green velvet and brass. Yet, low-profile pieces and simplicity are just part of the picture. The other portion brings luxurious materials and details into the fold – notice the patterned wallpaper and leatherback kitchen chairs – and gives you a view of the Hollywood Sign in the distance.
