Cinderella, or The Little Glass Slipper, is a folk tale embodying a mythical element of unjust oppression and triumphant reward - with thousands of variants throughout the world spanning over 400 years, this is still a story that resonates in our fast moving modern times.

Disguised through a thick veil of raucous Pantomime humour; our storytelling still seeks to extoll virtues of empathy, compassion, strength and humility - timeless messages relevant to us all while enchanting and entertaining young and old in equal measure.

The West End selected professional cast and professional dance ensemble we are proud to present to you are joined on stage by 20 local talented students making striking debut appearances in their local Pantomime this Christmas; the first step made by many an

Bryony has had a passion for Musical Theatre since she was very young and is so excited to finally be pursuing her dream.

Credits include: Chloe the Rag Doll in TOYS The New Musical (Dubai). Featured dancer in The Marvellous Melodic Machine, Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie (Bird College), Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Ngana in South Pacific UK Tour, Featured Child in Demolition Dad television series.

PHILIP HOYLES

as Ugly Sister Druscilla Tremaine Phil was born and raised in Grimsby; his varied career has seen him working Holiday Parks, Theatre, Cruises, Ferries and Hotels all over the UK. His first professional engagement was for P&O Cruises as a DJ, and then as Entertainment Manager for P&O Ferries. It was during his time as Entertainment Host for Shearings Holidays he started to perform his tribute show, which became known as The Tommy Cooper Experience.

In 2009, Phil played the lead character of Professor Potty in the UK’s first ‘motion capture’ production of Looney Tunes Live at Butlins Skegness.

Phil has appeared in many pantomimes and summer seasons over the years and has played a range of characters from Emperor in ‘Aladdin’ at Embassy Theatre in Skegness, Wishee Washee in ‘Aladdin’ at Parkway Theatre in Cleethorpes, Alderman Fitzwarren in ‘Dick Whittington’ at Haverhill Arts Centre, Captain Shiver-me-fingers in ‘Dick Whittington’ and Sir Basil in ‘Goldilocks and the 3 Bears’ both at North Pier Theatre in Blackpool. He has also toured with productions of ‘Cinderella’, ‘Treasure Island’ and ‘Sleeping Beauty’.

REBECCA ANDREWS as Fairy Godmother Assistant Director

Rebecca Andrews trained at Italia Conti and went on to achieve a BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre at London Studio Centre.

Rebecca has just finished as Producer on a new play ‘Going Ape’ with producer Andrew Corbet-Burcher and Director Evan Ensign in London’s West End. She has also produced and directed the London premiere of ‘Fatbusters The Musical’ in Tottenham Court Road and ‘Personals’ at the Landor Theatre which received 5 star reviews.

Rebecca is co producer of ‘Music Box’ and works closely with Google and Facebook. Rebecca has recently toured all over the world headlining as an opera singer in VOCE and was lead vocalist with the Barricade Boys on their New Zealand Tour.

Director & Choreographer We are delighted to introduce our Director & Choreographer Cameron Hall for this years Pantomime spectacular Cinderella.

Cameron’s choreography has most recently been seen on London West End in All or Nothing the Mod Musical.

He is also Artistic Director of ANO Productions and produced and choreographed FatBusters The Musical and the London Revival of Personals the Musical and acts as Creative Director on numerous other productions including new show Legends and Divas.

Cameron trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

Performing credits include: Chicago The Musical, Mamma Mia, An Evening with Anton Du Beke, Understudy Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk (Sheffield Lyceum Theatre).

His choreography credits include: The CBBC ‘School for Stars’, The One Show, Made2Move Dance Company, Adidas, Born Free Foundation and Cinderella (South Holland Centre) as well as resident choreographer for ITV’s Loose Women and This Morning.

GARY STARR Writer

We are delighted to welcome Gary Starr back as he returns for a second season to the Embassy Theatre writing our magical family Pantomime, Cinderella.

Gary, owner of the Neverland Theatre in Skegness is no stranger to pantomime, running his own successful touring pantomime company, writing producing and appearing in productions for over 25 years and this year will be producing the shows for the Rheged Theatre in Cumbria and the Astor Theatre in Deal as well as having 8 tours out during the festive season!

As well as a theatre owner, Gary is also a playwright and has recently written several gothic horror plays including Tales in the Darkness which will be touring theatres around the UK in 2019.

MATT OSCROFT Production Manager

Matt has recently moved back to theatre after spending seventeen years in the world of corporate entertainment, working for one of the UK’s leading production companies.

As senior Production Manager Matt had the pleasure of working on many major productions both in the UK and Overseas.

Although a production all-rounder Matt’s main passion lies in Lighting Design, working with many artistes such as the Black Eyed Peas, Olly Murs and the Kaiser Chiefs. Prior to this Matt worked at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham for six years, where his Theatre credits included, Cats, Aspects of Love, Sweeney Todd and many more West End touring productions.

In 2015 Matt took on the role of Technical Manager at the Embassy Theatre, now facilitating all the production requirements for both internal and external companies that use the venue. Matt is excited to be a part of the production team for Magna Vitae Productions 2018 Pantomime Cinderella.

JESUS VIDORRETA Vocal Director

Jesus Vidorreta is originally from Valencia in Spain and trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London gaining a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre.

Credits include: Lead Singer for RCCL, Dick in Dick Whittington (Carousel Theatre), Lead Vocalist in The Look of Love (NCL).

Jesus was a part of the production team for the UK premiere of FatBusters The Musical, performed at St. Giles in London.
