Our mission is to provide tools for the next generation of Jewish thinkers, scholars, and leaders to become passionate, dedicated, Jewish adults. For years, our children’s programs have done just that. Building the Loft Energized by the early response to our plans, we have set a date for construction to begin: October 22nd, 2019 (immediately following the High Holidays). Our expert contractor has committed to having the space ready for use within four months’ time so our children’s programs can move back in before March 2020.

A Center for All Building the Jewish Children’s Loft will not only ensure that our children’s programs continue to have a home, but it will open the door to even more opportunities for learning, growth and community. Plans are already underway to build a Jewish library and community resource center in the newly renovated space. While the Loft will be home to our synagogue’s children’s programs on Shabbat and Holidays, children from all over will visit after school and on weekends to check out books, read, do their homework, or attend tutoring. In addition, the Loft will also serve as a space for expanded programming and support for adults in our community.
