Our curriculum provides learning which extends beyond any particular subject.

Our Sixth Form Centre provides high quality A Level Provision opening the doors to Higher Education, Apprenticeships and the world of work.

Our subjects build cultural capital – the accumulation of knowledge, behaviours and skills necessary to succeed.

Our inspirational staff are creative, they fire the imagination of our students through a combination of intellectual challenge, expert subject knowledge and mutual trust.

Recognising the importance of subject mastery, we offer the super-curricular challenge required for study at Russell Group Universities. Every subject provides opportunity to explore beyond the confines of the exam specification.

In placing opportunity for leadership and service at the heart of our offer we aspire to develop the ethical and accomplished leaders of tomorrow.

Our students take an active role in the community through volunteering, work with local and global businesses, charities and other organisations.

Our sixth formers are accountable role models willing to courageously lead and to serve in honour.

Through electives students learn how to serve community through collaboration and shared respect. They help solve social issues;

Wellbeing for all is our core focus, being the foundation for personal growth and success.

Our sixth formers are encouraged to achieve balance in their lives through providing and celebrating personal growth electives such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s award, music, drama, art and sport.

JOIN US Our dedicated Sixth Form Centre is in the heart of the city.

We are easily accessible by train, public and school bus services. Plus there is ample parking on the roads surrounding the school.

Independent, group and computer study spaces are available within the Sixth Form Centre alongside a dedicated Sixth Form Café.
