opportunities
The Department of Biology, Geological, and Environmental Sciences (BGES) offers many opportunities outside the classroom.
Students have the the opportunity to apply for Ohio EPA Environmnetal Science Scholarships and Great Lakes Environmental Lab Summer Fellowships.
Additionally, each student has a capstone experience requirement which could include an internship, environmental research with faculty or environmental volunteer work at local organizations such as the Cleveland Metroparks, Holden Arboretum, Lake Erie Nature Center or Cleveland Youth Unlimited.
