Leadership Team STEPHEN POUPPIRT | PRESIDENT With over 40 years in the design and construction industries, Stephen managed the construction of the Liberty Place One and Two office towers in Philadelphia prior to joining Clemens in 1990. Named President of the firm in 1997, he forged its growth into new sectors and markets. His passion for building and customer satisfaction is the foundation of Clemens’ upbeat culture of teamwork and success.

CAROL HORNE PENN | VICE PRESIDENT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Carol leads the Business Development & Marketing team as well as all government relations and equal employment opportunities. With a diverse background including real estate development, compliance and employee relations, she has extensive experience leading and managing complicated projects. Prior to joining Clemens she was an executive and project manager with a Clemens client.

PAUL HORNING | VICE PRESIDENT PRECONSTRUCTION

Paul has over 35 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry.

His resume includes commercial, multi-family, hospitality and institutional projects throughout the Philadelphia region and New Jersey. Paul leads the estimating and preconstruction team through the critical evaluation and pricing of each project to ensure accuracy of the final estimate.

RON MEYERS | VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS

A powerful leader with an uncommon mastery of construction mechanics and a natural instinct to build, Ron leads company-wide operations for Clemens. He oversees all field activities and superintendent staff, as well as the Self-Perform Carpentry Division he launched for Clemens in 2011. His hands-on involvement throughout the project lifecycle safeguards the smooth workflow essential to project success.

BRETT PASTORIUS | VICE PRESIDENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT Brett oversees and controls all project management activities and actively engages in the preconstruction process. He is responsible for client service, contract negotiations, quality control, schedule adherence and financial discipline. His proclivity for detailed planning and execution guides projects through to completion on time and within budget.

GRAHAM STEWART | VICE PRESIDENT CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT A commercial construction veteran with a science background, Graham’s brilliant understanding of even the most complex project management processes makes him an expert in project optimization and quality control. He is responsible for the continuous improvement of project management procedures. His focus on best practices ensures maximum efficiency for each project.

DAVID RUSSELL | CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

David provides strategic leadership for Clemens’ financial strength via direct oversight of the company’s finance and accounting functions. He safeguards company assets and certifies the integrity of all financial controls and reporting.

He also oversees all budget management and forecasting in order to ensure each project has the cash flow necessary to keep it running on schedule.
