allows for boulevard garden encroachments through a permit application process
An encroachment is any type of vegetation, man-made object or item of personal property of a person which extends onto Township property, in this case a boulevard, the grassed or earthed area between the roadside curb, or edge of a ditch, and the property line
Among other requirements, gardens located on the boulevard must maintain sightline visibility for pedestrians and traffic, must be free of invasive plants or noxious weeds, and may not exceed one metre in height and 06 metres in height in sight triangles.
