Form and Space Precedents
Precedent 1: Electra Muzeon, Moscow, 2013 Architect: Ukolov / Osipova Initial reason: People interacting through similar interests Electra Muzeon is based in Moscow along one of the main bike trails and is a multi-use hub. It was constructed using recycled shipping containers and houses an indoor shop / bike repair shop. On the roof of Electra Muzeon is an open space that is open for the occupants to use and interact between like-minded people who have the same interests in bikes. The key aspects of precedent one is finding a common interest within the community and creating a multi-use space where they can collaborate with one another. These ideas can be reflected in the project on implementing a space along a route that would benefit every user.11
