Walking with the imagination. My “Vissi d’arte” column. A list of the main articles that my blog “Margini in/versi” has dedicated to places of art, with a reference to the most authoritative catalogs produced for exhibitions and similar events. Also offered are some contributions on the lives and works of artists, drawn from essays, novels, diaries, and films. This is one of the most extensive collections of my writings with which I have engaged in the investigation of the nexus between figurative language and speech, which is still the focus of my research, mainly directed at the analysis of emotional processes, of individual and collective identification and experience of cultural heritage. After ten years of blog activity (2012-2022), the column is currently continuing on my personal website: www.claudiaciardi.net Links from the site are gradually being placed on this page, supplementing what has been previously published on “Margini in/versi”. As well as for the columns “My Books” and “Writing and Painting in the Sign of Paula Modersohn-Becker”, which touch on central themes within the path briefly set out here. My publications and in-depth studies concerning the figure of Paula Modersohn-Becker represent the two poles of an expository and didactic practice that welcomes, elaborates and relaunches the theoretical cues on which my work most relies.
