SWIM LESSONS

Fee: $15 members, $35 non-members We offer six of the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim levels of swimming instructions that teach participants how to swim skillfully and safely.

PARENT-CHILD SWIM LESSONS

Fee: $15 members, $35 non-members For parents who want their children (ages 6 months to 3 years) to get an early introduction to the water. Participants will be required to have a parent/guardian accompany them in the pool.

PRESCHOOL SWIM LESSONS

Fee: $15 members, $35 non-members These classes are designed for children ages 3-5 who are somewhat comfortable in the water but are not yet ready for a full swim lesson atmosphere.

ADAPTIVE SWIM LESSONS

Fee: $15 members, $35 non-members Lessons are designed for children and adults with special needs to meet each individual’s goals relating to instruction and water safety. Participants will be required to have a parent or an aide accompany them in the pool. By appointment only. Sessions must be completed within two weeks.

NEW! HOWARD’S HOPE FREE SWIM LESSONS Location: Bel-Aire Pool Fee: Free We are excited to announce that free swim lessons are now offered to children who meet Howard’s Hope eligibility requirements. Canoes and kayaks must be dropped off by 7:30AM at Robert Clark Park. Participants will then drive to Billy Dunlop Park, where transportation will be provided back to the float starting point at Robert Clark Park. Participants must provide their own equipment. The city is located along the eclipse’s path of totality which will occur here around 1:26PM. This eclipse will be the first total solar eclipse visible from mainland United States since 1979. The best way to see the amazing spectacle is at Liberty Park where viewing spots will be available first come, first serve.
