RUBBER SAFETY MATS

Thick and heavy duty, this rubber matting contains holes that allow fluids to drain. A bevelled edge reduces the risk of tripping and the large size is suitable for a work station or warehouse entry.

Sizes include: Available in various sizes and also available cut to length.

CHEMICAL-RESISTANT MATS

Being made from nitrile rubber makes this matting resistant to petrol and oil. It’s well suited to workshops and commercial kitchens where liquids are for fluid dispersion, reducing micro organism growth. Available in terracotta.

ANTI-FATIGUE MATS

Anti-fatigue mats are manufactured to absorb impact and rebound,reducing leg pressures and strains. They also provide a non-slip surface and ramp edging for added safety and reducing tripping. VYNALITE & HERONAIR MATTING

Australian made chemical resistant PVC matting and has excellent cushioning properties. Available in two options: Vynalite is a lightweight multi purpose matting that provides relief from standing on cold floor. Heronair is manufactured from extremely strong and durable, hard wearing PVC. For both models minimum quantities may apply.

SAFETY BORDER MATS

AUTOMOTIVE MATTING & FLOORING

ULTIMATE MATTING

Suitable for utes, trailers and trucks and with added anti-fatigue features. It can also be used to assist in manufacturing, warehousing and production environments. The unique design is 20% thicker than standard ute matting, provides improved grip and flexibility and is reversible to suit different environments. Designed to protect the metal floor of vehicles, trailers or horse floats, our commercial vehicle matting is available in linear metre. UTE MATTING

Superior in quality and durability, the ute matting has a raised dimple backing for a non-slip surface and is ideal for utes, trays and vans. Available in linear metre, with widths:

RUBBER BOOT MATS AND CAR MATS

Boot and car mats are useful for protecting carpet and flooring in any vehicle including 4WDs and trucks. The light-weight universal boot mat is easily cut to shape to accommodate curves and contains a stippled back for added grip. STANDARD RUBBER

Natural rubber, natural insertion rubber and neoprene rubber are all standard types for Clark Rubber, with most sizes featured below available in our stores.

NATURAL RUBBER

Contains good physical properties, some abrasion resistance and low temperature flexibility. Poor resistance to petroleum based fluids.

NATURAL INSERTION RUBBER

Contains good physical properties, some abrasion resistance and low temperature flexibility. Poor resistance to petroleum based fluids. Manufactured with cotton or nylon reinforcement, to improve tear resistance and tensile strength. These can be 1ply or 2ply.

NEOPRENE RUBBER

Neoprene or polychloroprene is a synthetic rubber that contains physical properties closely resembling those of Natural Rubber. Has better weathering resistance than Natural Rubber and moderate resistance to petroleum based fluids.

SPECIALISED RUBBER

Available in store or made to order, Clark Rubber have an extensive range of specialised rubber including nitrile rubber, EPDM, Chutex and more. Available in a variety of thicknesses.

NITRILE RUBBER

Nitrile rubber or Buna N is a synthetic rubber that has excellent resistance to petroleum based fluids. Nitrile can handle higher temperatures than Natural Rubbers but has poor resistance to ozone.

WHITE HYGIENIC RUBBER

Manufactured from Nitrile, White Hygienic Rubber is designed for use in the food industry and is ideal for applications where animal fat is present. Meets the requirements of FDA Regulation Part 177. Also a good alternative where a non-marking rubber is required.

EPDM

Ethylene Propylene Diene M-Class has excellent ozone, weathering and heat resistance. Ideal in acidic environments, EPDM is able to carry heavy loads and absorbs vibrations. EPDM is flexible and water resistant making it a common material for pond liners. Poor resistance to petroleum based fluids.

CHUTEX

Traditionally used in mining and machinery applications where small particle and slurry abrasion may occur.

PURE GUM RUBBER

A high grade natural rubber, Pure Gum is a soft compound for improved cushioning and stretch. It has excellent tear resistance.

VITON® SILICONE

Viton® provides excellent resistance to a broad range of oils, fuels, lubricants and mineral acids. Excellent temperature resistance up to 200 °C.

Silicone is totally synthetic and provides excellent high temperature and chemical resistance, ozone and weathering resistance and is impervious to UV light. It’s non-toxic,chemically inert and retains it’s flexibility over a wide temperature range. Silicone sheeting is available by order only. Temperature resistant to 200 °C and also meets the requirements of FDA Regulation Part 177.

HYPALON®

Hypalon® is a black fully synthetic polymer and is an excellent ozone, weathering and acid resistant compound. Also has good abrasion resistance and heat resistant qualities.

SEALS & MOULDINGS

Our extensive range of seals includes products available for doors, windows, car doors, car boots and hatch doors. We can also supply a wide range of specific or custom made unique profile seals based on customer requirements. Minimum order quantities apply.

WEATHER STRIPS

Seal and protect using weather strips. Our extensive range includes ‘t’ profiles, ‘p’ profiles and ‘u’ profiles. The examples below provide a selection of available profiles. Additional customer specific profiles can be manufactured based on special orders.

‘U’ SECTION RUBBERS

Made from EPDM rubber to provide excellent heat and shock absorption properties as well as resistance to harsh weather. Available in a variety of sizes, round, square and rectangle profiles; black in colour. Additional customer specific sizes can be manufactured based on special orders. SEALS

FOAM TAPES

Single sided adhesive foam sealing tape is suited for weather seals on doors, windows, cars or boats. It is an effective barrier for sound, rain, dust, odours, insects and light, in addition to preventing warm / cool air loss. Material types include:

POLYETHYLENE (PE)

General purpose foam tape for sealing, vibration and closure applications. Contains water resistant properties but has poor resistance to ozone.

EPDM SPONGE (414)

Black closed cell foam/rubber tape, with good general purpose weather, dust and light sealing properties. Requiring only a light compression to seal, EPDM has excellent resistance to ozone.

NEOPRENE SPONGE (242)

Black closed cell foam/rubber tape for higher demand applications. Much firmer than EPDM, it has very good pressure, vacuum and watertight sealing properties and very good ozone resistance.

POLYURETHANE (PU)

Open cell, low compression, light and dust sealant typically used for draught exclusion. Absorbs water and has poor ozone resistance.

The extrusion rubber in pinchwelds has specialised materials inserted to grip onto various sheet products.

PINCHWELDS

Pinchwelds provide an easy, clean and neat finish to exposed metal, fiberglass, glass, plastic and plywood edges without the use of staples or glue. They help in replacing worn, damaged or faded trim on door openings as well as panel edges on cars, tractors and boats. The examples below provide a selection of available profiles. HANDLE GRIP

This Handle grip provides a comfortable and durable grip for a variety of exercise equipment, walking aids and other industrial applications.

It is made of high-quality and non-toxic PVC that reduced impact from vibration and covered with foam for a soft touch and added comfort. Measuring 128m in length and designed to fit most handle with an internal diameter of 22mm.

There’s a great variety of stoppers available from Clark Rubber including plugs, cork and rubber stoppers for test tubes and bottles as well as door stoppers and wedges for windows, doors and office furniture

RUBBER STOPPERS DOOR STOPS

Clark Rubber stoppers are slightly tapered are available in rubber, plastic or cork to stop liquid seepage in sinks and other vessels.

To help prevent door handles hitting plaster board walls, our door stoppers are available in a range of sizes and can be screwed into various surfaces. Door stops are available in black or white; large and small.

RUBBER WEDGES

To ensure a hinged door or window is kept open, our rubber wedges will not slip on most floor/bench surfaces. Rubber wedges are available in black or white; large and small.

CLEAR VINYL TUBING

Suitable for transfer of non-pressure related liquids, the hose’s clear appearance provides a visual reference for easy identification of blockages or foreign objects. It is suitable for food and drinking water transfer as well as petroleum products. Available for purchase by the metre.

CLEAR REINFORCED HOSE

This hose is suitable for pressure applications up to 250psi. It’s rated up to 60 degrees and is suitable for food and drinking water transfer as well as being petrol and oil resistant. Available for purchase by the metre, it’s clear appearance allows for viewing of blockages and / or foreign objects.

ADHESIVES

KWIK GRIP VERTICAL GEL

This solvent-based polychloroprene contact adhesive is suitable for bonding both absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces. It forms an instant bond on contact of two treated surfaces placed under pressure.

GRIP HORIZONTAL

A heat resistant, solvent-based, flexible contact adhesive suitable for bonding both absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces. It forms an instant bond on contact of two surfaces.

SPRAY ON ADHESIVE FLEX SEAL

The latest addition to the Clark Rubber Range. The Flex family of products includes Flex Seal, Flex Paste, Flex Glue and Flex Tape. No matter what the job these flexible products provide a waterproof rubber like solution for many applications. Flex Seal provides a spray on rubber like substance whilst Flex Paste is a rubber putty like substance than can be formed into virtually any shape prior to curing.

PIPE INSULATION

K-flex is suitable for various practical uses including domestic and industrial applications which require use of high grade, fire rated superior quality insulation material. It is available in 1 metre length in wall thickness of 9mm or 13mm. Pipe ID dimensions: 13mm, 19mm, 25mm, 32mm, 51mm

FORMSHIELD

Features an easy spray application for a permanent, strong and durable result. A range of spray on adhesives are available for a variety of materials.

Foam spray developed specifically for Clark Rubber. It bonds to foam, fabric, acoustic panel, MDF, carpet and plastics.

For large commercial requirements this is also available in 17kg keg.

Formshield is cross-linked closed cell polyethylene foam heat laminated to aluminium foil that provides an effective insulation against heat transfer and meets fire hazard rating AS1530.3. It reduces and absorbs the transmission of noise and vibration, and also acts as a moisture barrier. It has no known health hazards, easy to install while providing energy efficiencies and reduces noise. It does not store or emit dust or fibre particles and provides excellent impact resistance. It is available both with or without adhesive backing on the following thicknesses: 5mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm.

As well as being soft underfoot, indoor carpet options can also compliment your furniture and décor. Choose from a range of colours and textures to set the look you want in your living area or bedroom. We also offer indoor runners with non-slip foam backing to help prevent movement.

ARTIFICIAL GRASS

Outdoor carpet products are a comfortable and attractive option for entertaining areas and marine applications. Raider is a specialised outdoor/marine carpet that has a soft velour finish. This solution dyed fibre and the unique non-woven manufacturing process ensures this carpet is stain resistant, will not zip or fray, and can withstand harsh Australian elements. Reef is a broad-ribbed solution dyed outdoor/marine carpet. It has the same colour options as Raider.

Clark Rubber supplies a wide selection of both Australian and overseas made artificial grass options, suitable for front and back yards, and commercial sites. Choose the look and feel of grass that best suits your location. Even a smaller space such as a patio or balcony can be enhanced with artificial grass tiles, pre-packed rolled grass or small pile turf. Whichever type of turf you prefer for your garden, this UV-stabilised artificial grass is resistant to fading and safe for kids and pets to play on.

The manufacturing process involves the mixing of a number of chemicals which are continually pumped into a mixing head in precise metered quantities then poured onto a paper covered conveyor. As a result of the mixing, a chemical reaction takes place, producing gasses for expansion and foaming. As the foam expands it takes up the shape of the conveyor and moves continuously towards a cutting machine, which cuts the blocks into the required length.

By varying the type and amount of ingredients, foams can be produced with varying densities and hardness. Blocks are then weighed and checked for the correct density and other specifications before being stored on a flat floor in the curing area. Blocks cure overnight before being delivered to the customer or cut and fabricated in the foam conversion plant.

Foam is described by density, which is how we simplify the classification of foam quality. The greater the foam density, the higher the quality. Softness and elasticity, are also measured. After manufacture, foam is tested for density, resilience and hardness.

• Density is a measure of the weight of foam per cubic metre.

• Resilience measures overall endurance, in addition to elasticity and bounce back qualities.

Has a lower density and less resilience to repeated use. It’s ideal for light traffic applications such as protection of sharp objects, packaging of precious belongings, exercise mats, infant bedding and chair backs.

Also useful for high-traffic applications and heavy use items, this high density foam can also be used for various seating applications, however, its longevity is not as certain when compared to our premium high density foam.

This foam has a higher density, making it useful for high-traffic applications and heavy use items such as cushions, chairs, caravan and boat seats and mattresses. Some premium high density foam is guaranteed for 10 years.

MEMORY FOAM

Memory foam’s ‘slow recovery’ allows it to conform to the exact shape of an indentation. The elastic properties are able to relieve pressure on joints and muscles, making it perfect for support cushions and bedding. Extensively used in the health care sector, memory foam also helps to reduce the risk of bed pressure sores and back pain relief.

This sound absorbing Polyurethane foam panel is designed to reduce echo within an environment and enhances the sound quality and aesthetics of any recording or listening environment.

CLOSED CELL FOAM

Closed cell foams are waterproof and buoyant which make them ideal for use in water applications. With excellent shock absorbing capabilities and resistance to most common chemicals, closed cell foam is used for instrument cases, gaskets and seals, boat seats and other marine applications including flooring.

Peeled foam is a continual sheeted foam that’s ideal for packaging and protection. It is available for purchase by the metre in both 6mm and 12mm thicknesses.

CRUMBED FOAM

One of the most economical stuffing foams, crumbed foam is a mixture of foam qualities chopped into small chunks. Available in 375gm, 750gm, 2.5kg or 5 kg bags.
