Thanks to our dedicated team and community support, we earned widespread media recognition in 2024. Our leadership was also celebrated: Solace Board VP and Secretary, Amy Adler, was named one of Santa Fe’s 10 Who are Making a Difference Santa Fe’s 10 Who Making a Difference by the SantaFeNew Mexican Meanwhile, our Executive Director, María José Rodríguez Cádiz , used her voice to advocate for survivors, with an op-ed piece in TheSantaFeNew Mexicanemphasizing the critical role of our new state 24/7 helpline.
Our message continues in 2025 On February 1, María José's latestop-ed op-ed piece urged the state to do more for survivors of sexual assault. And on March 4, María José once again brought the spotlight in on Solace with a candid discussion candid discussion on sexual assault in our community
