Responding to the site and theme in both abstract and concrete ways, the international competition selected Ateliers Jean Nouvel's project as the winner. Titled "Light of the Sea," our design tells an original story of music and the sea from the city's, mountain's, and sea's perspectives. The Opera House features a curved, transparent, floating roof, housing performance spaces like opera and concert halls. These spaces extend towards the coast, connected by a public path and visual corridor.

Jean Nouvel, known for his play of light and shadow, envisions an open art precinct for public music experiences and cultural gatherings, with interior designs featuring rhythmic lines, curved balconies, and acoustic geometries inspired by "DreamWorks."

Participated in oncept stage design, modeling, generative graphics, and event planning.

We envision Beijing's Sixth Ring Park as a vibrant representation of Tongzhou's vitality and innovative spirit. Considering the complex surroundings and diverse users, we aim for this segment to express Tongzhou's relentless pursuit of innovation from multiple dimensions, transitioning from industry to lifestyle from north to south.

The design focuses on connectivity, activation, and restoration. It integrates the park with the TOD to the west and the commercial-administrative area to the east. Diverse entry, exit, and transit options include barrier-free walkways, pedestrian bridges, and garden paths. The layout features centralized and standalone cultural service buildings, creating key anchor points that blend indoor and outdoor environments, enhancing innovative scenarios.

PEDESTRIAN SYSTEM

通过多维度的流线设计连通西侧的TOD，六环公园以及东侧的商务-政务区，使其无论在流线上还是功能上都被紧密的联系在一起。

呼应周边路网，完善的地面道路系统和慢行系统为各个方向来的使用者上下六环高线提供无障碍的通行。

在无障碍的地面慢行交通路网之外，三个空中栈道成为行政西区三个核心地块中庭顶部的延展，跨过六环东侧路，连接行政西区与六环高线。北侧的连接穿过产业之窗建筑群和山涧清泉小径，进入TOD核心区域，而南侧的两个步道则落脚于飞鸟驿站和南侧的社群之窗。

连接商务区中庭和六环的人行天桥，以及建筑屋顶的花园步道，为使用者在不同的场景中进入，离开，或者穿越六环公园提供了多样化的选择。

Inspired by its beautiful natural landscape, rich Hakka heritage, and comfortable waterfront lifestyle, the Pingshan River Blueway Master Plan proposes a resilient and vibrant riverfront corridor that is ecologically valuable, culturally memorable, and economically viable to the region.

As a close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and local residents, scholars, and various government agencies, Sasaki’s plan for the riverfront corridor adapts three overarching strategies to holistically improve the Pingshan River landscape: ensure safety and restore the ecosystem to build a resilient waterfront; enhance cultural landscapes to better engage with and educate local communities; and integrate with the city to sustain long-term success.

The Andaz Xian Hotel is inspired by the concept of a "city in the building." Its interior design continues the theme of a "vertical city." The core design aims to create an urban living room. The hotel consists of a tower and a podium.

The upper tower is for high-end hotel-style offices, while the podium includes retail and boutique hotel spaces, meeting the community's commercial and office needs. The landscape design integrates pocket spaces, sky gardens, rooftop terraces, and urban parks, creating a cohesive cityscape that connects the podium and tower.

1,A feature of the architectural concept is transforming the group of buildings into a 3D grid, aiming to showcase the perfect proportions of a 10.4m x 10.4m grid from various angles.

KENYA LOCUST OUTBREAK

ASLA Award Analysis & Planing 2021 Team Work / Lodwar. Kenya

In 2020, Massive locust outbreaks threatened the terrestrial environments and crop production in around 100 countries of which Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya are the most affected. The locust invasion has left farmers in resource-poor countries do not only counting crop losses but struggling with emerging environmental and health problems.

The innovative agricultural system reduces the evaporation of runoff, increases the utilization rate of water resources by intercepting the lower reaches of the Tukana River, and cooperates with Kenya's climate-smart agriculture policy to effec tively improve food security and improve local nutrition problems.

Half-moon Cropland

As the most basic structural unit, Water is brought in through a canal for irrigation, and excess water is drained through the canal to the next unit. During the rainy season, the half-moon shaped embankment prevents scour.

Re-modification

When multiple units are combined, crops with different water storage can be planted in different ways according to the different humidity of each unit. The module can be freely combined according to requirements.

Water Pan

The construction of water pan is consistent with that of half-moon farmland, which can be dug deeper and larger as a reservoir. During the sunken water pan collects runoff and is used to supplement irrigation in need.

Drainage Strategy

Water can be diverted into canals in a variety of ways, including the construction of sand bars in rivers or diversion pumps to divert water. In the dry season, when the river water level is low, the water pump is used to assist water intake.

Dry Season Strategy

Use sand bars to block seasonal rivers and serve as temporary reservoirs. There is also a need for water-saving irrigation methods, such as tube drip irrigation, porous clay pot drip irrigation, and gravel systems.

The New Norte Dame adopt the Old Church's semiotical language to continue the symbolically manifest cosmological and theological concepts.

The New Norte Dame analysis the different semiology and visual communication models, capture the component of the Gothic elements, structures, and organization of the architectural form of the cathedral, and adopt the logical structure of the signs system within the cathedral in a new combination.

The Garden of Eden Fantasy imagined a scene where architects from all over the world worked together to design this dreamlike building—the Garden of Eden, on top of the incomplete church. However, the real Garden of Eden was not created by architects but by people and people. Building co-creation. People spontaneously move in this building, creating a place spirit, giving up many desires, and returning to the ordinary. Under this kind of spirit's catalytic action, the building blooms like a garden, possessing endless vitality. The mutual catalysis of architecture and people finally reproduces the Garden of Eden on earth.

The proposal following the needs of client,due to client is a home body, we hope that by focusing on the design of mix use of space,then the small garden could offers client social needs, psychological needs an spiritual needs by the yard. With the garden could allow different possibilities, the good time would always generated.

When the house is blending in various activities, it becomes the hub of multiple uses in a moment; the patio, dog park, meditation garden are without hard borders and fussy rules, which means a more convenient walking experience and more green natural landscape. Here, the diversified use, full of imagination, is encouraged.

THE CIVIC CENTER MALL

The Civic Center Mall, located between the southeast edge of Scottsdale and the bustling Old Town area, aims to reengage residents and visitors with the urban environment's natural qualities. This alternative public space encourages communal enjoyment in Scottsdale.

The redesigned mall rearranges the urban plot through visualization, routes, and accesses, creating a seamless gradient from the park to Old Town Scottsdale and local communities. From any perimeter street, the interior is accessed through a small square. The project envisions the mall as an open, accessible, and flexible space for all activities, fostering community and individuality, catering to all ages, and promoting societal diversity.

THE MINGLE CAFE AND HOSTEL

I was employed by a private owner to participate in the design of Mingle Hostel from March to May. we visited the neighborhood of Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown and discovered traces of the building's past (Chinese Living Room) while clearing construction debris. By incorporating these Chinese elements with Nanyang culture into the materials and furniture, the entire visiting process felt like each Malaysian Chinese was searching for clues to their family memories.

In the project, we optimized the building's flow considering fire escape routes and safety management, allowing the stage at the building's center to extend from the outer corridor to the interior, forming a bright and spacious flow inside and out. To control construction costs, we reused recycled cement to create decorative window flower walls and the reception desk. we optimized the hostel's bed spaces for privacy and comfort based on experiences.
