Bus Stations on the Outskirts of the City

Central Bus Station Munich: Hackerbrücke, access from Mittlerer Ring road via Arnulfstrasse 21 in the direction of city center / HBF (main train station)

Oskar-von-Miller-Ring: Altstadtring road in the eastern direction of travel (close to the “Pinakotheken” art galleries, Königsplatz, Odeonsplatz), between Gabelsbergerstrasse and Kardinal-Döpfner-Strasse

Munich provides two bus stations on the outskirts of the city for unloading/loading and parking. Both facilities are located in close proximity to highways and are quickly and comfortably linked to downtown by subway.

Western side of Karl-Scharnagl-Ring: Altstadtring road in the southern direction of travel (close to Residenz, Nationaltheater, Kammerspiele, Hofbräuhaus), between Hofgartenstrasse and Maximilianstrasse

Eastern side Karl-Scharnagl-Ring: Altstadtring road in the northern direction of travel, between Seitzstrasse and Christophstrasse (3 parking spaces)

Blumenstrasse: Altstadtring road in the southern direction of travel (close to Viktualienmarkt, Marienplatz, Schrannenhalle), between Corneliusstrasse and An der Hauptfeuerwache

Thomas-Wimmer-Ring: Altstadtring road in the southern direction of travel (close to Viktualienmarkt, Marienplatz, Hofbräuhaus), between Hildegardstrasse and Isartor

Location: Downtown Munich, directly at Hackerbrücke, Arnulfstrasse 21, 80335 Munich (close to main train station, Stachus-Karlsplatz, Theresienwiese-Oktoberfest, Circus Krone)

Connection to the local public transport system: Suburban train stop Hackerbrücke (core route), travel time to Marienplatz 3 min.

Capacity: 29 bus stops, parking for 170 cars, travel center, catering and shops

Access: Approaching on the A9 from Nuremberg exit at “Fröttmaning-Süd”; approaching from the west via A99 exit at “Fröttmaning-Nord”.

Access: Exit the Mittlerer Ring road at Donnersberger Brücke and proceed on Arnulfstrasse in the direction of city center (signposting for “ZOB” throughout the municipal area)
