They live next to the Serra do Mar State Park. Oswaldo’s father arrived in Parelheiros in the middle of the 50’s, cultivating vegetables. In 1960, he started a persimmon production. In that time, some people already were talking about organic production, “when this land gets poor, it won’t produce anything more”, people use to say.
