This year’s featured entertainment is worldchampion hoop dancer Moontee Sinquah who will perform with his sons, Scott and Samson. The show also presents an array of prestigious fine arts and crafts exhibitors including Sage Designs by Michael Sage. Nelda Schrupp, a jeweler and sculptor of the Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation will also be in attendance displaying her ceremonial dance rattles and necklaces. Brimming with one-of-a-kind art and crowd-pleasing entertainment, the event also hosts a variety of culinary vendors that serve an array of international cuisines and boutique treats. “Though our town is small, it is alive with southwest spirit. Our art, entertainment, and culturally informative performances embrace the history and nature that surrounds us. There is nothing else quite like it in Arizona,” says Roberta Toombs-Rechlin, owner of Magic Bird. For information, call 480.488.2014 or visit www.magicbirdfestivals.com.
