Kids Only Club: Chocolate Adventures

Friday, April 15 Beaker talked the Professor into this because he thought you’d like to learn about the process of making chocolate (really though, he thought maybe you’d like to eat it!). Make your reservations early...this event is for kids ages 5-10 only - sorry, parents are not invited - and will be limited to the first 60 enrollees. Tickets are $10 per child and include dinner.

Friday, April 22 Bring your own half-dozen or so hard-boiled little beauties to use tonight as we eggsperiment with eggs-pert coloring techniques that would make the Easter Bunny proud! Oh...you might want to wear your lab coat since things may get a little colorful - and messy...as usual.

Friday, April 29 Raptors and Mammoths take over the Workshop again and they’ve left lots of hidden secrets for you to discover...hope you know a lot about dinosaurs. Be prepared for megasize fun and adventure as you figure out clues about your favorite prehistoric giants!

Friday, May 6 Messy? Gooey? Astonishing? Naturally! That’s what the Professor’s wild and crazy science night is all about! Phineas’ assistants will demonstrate scientific wonders during an evening of discovery and laughter-filled learning for all ages.

Friday, May 13 Ahoy there, landlubber - come dressed as a pirate this evening to enjoy life on the high seas. If you fancy yourself to be Captain Jack Sparrow, you won’t want to miss tonight’s fun. This event is for kids ages 5-12 only (no parents!) and will be limited to the first 60 enrollees. Tickets are $20 per child and include dinner, matey. Friday, May 20 Feel free to dress like a Martian tonight as we discover secrets of the Red Planet. (Do you know why it is called that? And how would a Martian be dressed, anyway?) It’s all part of the mystery - and the fun - so don’t miss it!

Science of the Surf

Friday, May 27 You would definitely know how physics and gravity affect you if you’ve ever gone surfing! If you haven’t, you’ll find out as we explore how tides, waves, and rip currents work. You’ll learn a lot about the ocean but it’s probably not a good idea to wear your bathing suit!

Pennypickle’s Scout Patch & Merit Badge Program

Ages: All ages of scouts Fee: $10/per scout Gather your scouts and head to Pennypickle’s to earn your science-related patches and badges. The Professor’s assistants will guide your scouts through a sciencethemed activity that meets some of the requirements for their patches and/or badges. Materials provided (not including the patch/badge). Register at tcsd.cityoftemecula.org. Chaperones and siblings can pay $4.50 at the door to play in the museum. Admission for scout leaders is free and leaders must participate in the workshop. All workshops are held on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30pm on the dates listed below.
