NATIONAL PUBLIC WORKS WEEK

MAY 21-27, 2023

The City of South El Monte joins the American Public Works Association (APWA) and communities from across the nation to honor those who work in professions that provide and maintain public streets, facilities, and services during National Public Works Week, May 21-27,2023. Public Works focus on infrastructure, facilities and services that are of vital importance to sustainable and resilient communities and to the public health, high quality of life and well-being of the South El Monte community. Our City’s infrastructure, facilities and services could not be provided without the dedicated efforts from our Public Works Division. They work collectively with all stakeholders in capital improvement projects, infrastructure upkeep and enhancements, and quality of life services to ensure a higher quality of life for South El Monte community members.
