March 2022 Monthly Performance Report The City of Rock Hill has developed a service strategy with three main initiatives. Serving embodies our commitment to the community. Resource Education & Development Initiative (REDI) target specifically neighborhoods Catawba Terrace and Sunset Park with additional resources appropriate to neighborhood needs. Sunset Park was added for FY2022. Voluntary compliance is a measure of what percentage of property owners bring their property back to compliance after a citation.

‘REC in a Box’ Participants • •

Recreation, Education and Community (REC) in a Box began in FY2019. COVID-19 has March 2022 greatly impacted 190 Participants all Parks, Recreation & Tourism (PRT) programs including REC in a Box. REC in a Box restarted programs after the initial COVID-19 shutdown in June 2020.


Engaging Downtown Rock Hill On March 3, the South Carolina Arts Commission announced the recertification of the Downtown Rock Hill Cultural District. South Carolina’s definition of a cultural district is a geographic area that has a concentration of cultural facilities, activities and assets. It is a walkable area that is easily identifiable to visitors and residents and serves as a center of cultural, artistic and economic activity. South Carolina has nine unique cultural districts that make the arts top-of-mind among residents and visitors alike while showcasing the best of South Carolina. Rock Hill Student Athletes City Council recognized Isaac McLellan for winning the 2021-2022 SC Wrestling Championship, the Clinton College Lady Golden Bears basketball team for outstanding athletic accomplishments, Coach Blair being named USCAA Coach of the Year, and the Golden Bears men's basketball team for outstanding athletic accomplishments. 3
