Walking School Bus It’s just like a traditional school bus – but on foot! Students walk together along a designated route, picking up friends along the way. Each route is led by an adult leader. This program is now available at Skaha Lake Elementary and KVR Elementary, delivered by Safety Village.

Kiss & Go Zones This is a short-term stopping area where drivers can pull over for no longer than two minutes while the student exits the vehicle. This keeps a steady ow of vehicles moving.

Other

Drive to Five Zones This concept includes setting up a designated location 500 metres away from the school, where parents can drop o or pick up their kids. This encourages walking for short distances, while helping to reduce congestion near the front of the school.
